  • Sophie's has been completely remodeled. Welcome to Sophie's Cottage, a peaceful waterfront retreat. The cottages is a vacation place for families or a romantic getaway for couples. There are 2 private bedrooms and 2 bathrooms: 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, 1 queen bed and queen sleeper sofa in pool side room. This room is not closed off see pictuers. 1 full size sofa bed in living room,they have gel foam mattresses. The dining room, living room and den all make a cohesive space for entertainment or relaxing. Step out back to a paved patio, private heated pool, and view of the canal. The patio area has ample seating, and makes a great place for entertainment or outdoor dining. The front porch is screened in for privacy. The cottage is within walking and biking distance to the beach and the Siesta Key Village. Sophie's Cottage gives you easy access to vibrant local attractions, shops, restaurants and relaxing days on the beach. Whether you spend your days wandering through the shops or enjoying the beautiful beach, you will have a tranquil retreat to return to at the end of your day. Beach chairs and tables, 3 bikes,3 kayaks, 2 yoga mats and a gas grill for cookouts are included. We also have a 6 person golf cart on property to rent to make trips to the beach or resturants in Siesta easy and fun.

We had a great time, the location and home was perfect. We love Siesta Key. Jim was easy to communicate with. The home was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Very quiet area and easy to get around . Close to beaches . The pool was very nice too!

This cottage met our expectations and more! It has everything you need for Siesta Key- Kayaks, paddle boards, bikes, beach chairs , and beach toys. Some days we never even left the cottage ! We even saw manatees in the canal off the back deck.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely little cottage! It was spotless and well equipped, the beds were comfy , and the back yard and pool were gorgeous. Our host , Jim , was so kind and helpful. We would definitely stay again!!

Siesta Key vacation

Perfect place to stay. 1 mile to the village and beach access. We loved making our own meals in the grill and swimming in the pool.

We enjoyed all the extra touches the owner provided, the place was well stocked with items to improve our stay, such as beach items, bathroom items, spices and kitchen supplies.The house and pool were both clean and well maintained.The location to the beach and the village were great.

My family and I stayed at this beautiful home from June 20–27, 2026, and had an amazing experience. Communication with the host was excellent, and check-in was seamless from start to finish.The home was clean, beautifully maintained, well equipped, and perfectly accommodated our family of six. I highly recommend adding the golf cart to your stay, just ask the host for details! We used it every day throughout the week and found it incredibly convenient.The neighborhood was peaceful, and the scenery was absolutely stunning. We especially enjoyed having the canal right in the backyard, where we spent our mornings drinking coffee, relaxing, and taking in the beautiful views. The home is also just a short walk from Beach Access 11, which was a huge bonus.One of the highlights of our trip was watching a manatee and her babies swim up to the dock during our stay! It was a truly unforgettable experience!Overall, I would give this home and our entire experience a 10/10. We highly recommend it and would love to stay here again in the future.

Our stay in Siesta Key was amazing!! This property was the perfect home base for our month away. The walk to Siesta Key Beach was doable but if wanting to drive, there was plenty of parking at the beach. There were beach toys, towels and chairs to use. The house had everything needed, updated and beautifully decorated. The beds were comfortable with quality bedding. We loved being so close to Siesta Key Village for dinners and shopping, yet the neighborhood was quiet at night. The highlight was the back yard! The pool, chairs, kayaks, fishing off the dock and all of the little extras were remarkable!! We loved the bikes that were provided too! Jim was on top of everything and we appreciated his eagerness to respond and help with whatever came up. You can't go wrong booking this beautiful home, it was wonderful!

Very cute! The house had everything we needed and the private pool is a must after a long day at the beach! Kayaking in the morning on the bay right out back was such a great way to start the day!

Beautiful place in the perfect area!

This home is paradise and just a short walk to the beach. The pool is lovely, clean and the Adirondack chairs are such a nice way to enjoy it. The house is well equiped for a group as well.

Honeymoon paradise

Jim was a fantastic host for me and my new wife. The property was as advertised and a perfect location for privacy and accessibility to the neighborhood. We will hopefully be going back at some point in the near future for a return trip , 10/10!

Staying here provided us with the best trip we have had in Siesta to date!!! Located within a minutes walk from beach 11 or downtown, this place can’t be beat! Added bonus were the provided bikes and the option to rent the 6 seater Cadillac Cart. Between our feet, the bike seats and the Caddy wheels, the kids and adults could roam freely to wherever our hearts desired. The house alone provides you with an entire day full of fun! We fished off the dock, enjoyed scenic canoe trips down the canal, grilled up many meals on the spacious patio, jumped in the refreshing heated pool like it was our job, and soaked it all in while star gazing in the hammock at night. Although I have never met Jim, he made sure to take care of us like family. We will be back!!!

Great spring break spot

We had two 4 person families share this place for spring break. The location was great and the frog hopper knew our address to get around. The beach is a 15 minute walk away and the village is about a 20 minute walk. The property manager communicated regularly and we had a great experience.

Pristine Cottage

We had a fantastic stay at Sophie's Cottage. The entire home has been renovated and is pristine and immaculate. The pool and backyard are breathtaking with an amazing view of the canal. The owner, Jim, is high class and ensured we had everything we needed to start our vacation; bikes, chairs, beach towels. Great communications with him. He provides everything you need to have a memorable stay. The home is perfectly located near the beach and village. Definitely will return!

True Siesta Key Charm

Our stay at Sophie’s Cottage was perfect. The home is spacious and well equipped. The outdoor living area provided extra space to enjoy and entertain. The heated pool, patio and kayaks were put to great use! The house is on a quiet street with close access to the beach and village. Jim was extremely kind and responsive. We will definitely stay at Sophie’s Cottage again!

Great family fun trip!

We had an amazing time at Sophie’s Cottage. We lucked out and got a renovated home due to the Hurricanes. The proximity to the beach and town are great. Short bike ride to both. Jim, the owner, helped us immediately with any issues. Our kids caught snappers, catfish, jacks, sting rays and needle fish off of the dock of the home. Great time, great home, great location!!!

100% Recommend!

Hands down one of the cleanest rentals we stayed in! Sophie’s Cottage was the perfect size for our family of 4 adults and 2 kids (11 & 13). The canal kept my boys busy with fishing and kayaking, while we were able to enjoy the nice pool right there beside them. The bikes were great for a morning stroll or to ride up to the village. This was the first time my family flew to a beach vacation and we had everything we needed. Jim, the owner, is very accommodating and communication is top notch! Siesta Key Beach was beautiful, and plenty of beach space! Highly recommend Sophie’s Cottage!
