I've stayed at a lot of hotels, and this one was about as good as it gets. Two things were what I think of as "beyond category"--the setting and the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. The rest (cleanliness, comfort, rooms, etc.) were merely excellent.

The villa was superb with private swimming pool, quiet and lovely views of the village of Kastro. Also, the experience of getting breakfast in a basket in the morning is unique. The staff are very warm and welcoming and always eager to help. Highly recommended five star stay!

Very nice, private suite with a balcony overlooking Kastro. Great for a relaxing morning and afternoon. Having a breakfast delivered to our room was a great way to start a day. Stafg was very friendly and helpful offering very good local recommendations. Shoutout to Nikita! Parking was definitely a plus! Nice pool and a great outdoor gym!

It’s a very beautiful property with an excellent staff and wonderful included breakfast. The pool is quiet and has amazing views. The property is very steep and has a lot of climbing. Steps and driveways are steep. Not suitable for anyone who has mobility issues.

Beautiful hotel, very serene but still with close access to main villages and beaches. The pool is amazing and the breakfast picnic basket every morning was a real highlight. Dimitris, the hotel manager, was very accommodating and all of the staff were lovely.

Hotel looks over the old town Kastro and olive groves. Nice and neat relax pool. Even gym. Hotel staff are very helpful. Breakfast baskets delivered to the room was such delight touch. We enjoyed our stay and wish we have more time to spend.

It was incredibly nice here! The pool and scene is so calm and peaceful. We rented the 2 BR villa and I highly recommend. You get your own pool! The breakfast basket was intentional and artfully crafted! I do recommend having a car because the walk to Apollonia on the trails is about 45 minutes. Also, highly recommend just running or walking the nearby trail even if you have a car! We’ll definitely come back!

We had an excellent stay at Sigma. The residences are high quality and beautifully designed. The local town (Apollonia) is a 20 minute walk away although the road can be busy and dark in the evening. There was a mix up with our booking when we arrived but it was quickly sorted and the staff were brilliant. We will definitely return if we visit Sifnos again!

Highest regards for this place

The stay was beyond what we could have dreamed. We were late getting in, but were greeted cordially and provided assistance to get settled in. Many thanks to Nikos! The rest of our stay was wonderful with daily breakfast service and help from the villa manager to getting from place to place, especially since we didn’t have a car. Many thanks here to Theodora. Would highly recommend staying here, although it is a bit far from the other towns. If I could give more than five stars, I would!

Our stay at Sigma Residences was a top notch, amazing, wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived we were pampered. We were greeted when we parked, and our bags were whisked away to our room while we checked in. Theodora showed us to our suite, explaining how everything worked. The rooms were spotless, with everything we would need for an amazing stay. We spent most of our time outside – either in our private patio area, with its amazing view down the valley to Kastro, or around the pool area. Ahhh, the pool. Cooling off in the infinity pool looking down at the amazing view, then getting out and lounging on one of the comfortable chairs or, our favorite, in the double canopy bed, was heaven. Each morning, we were brought an incredible basket of food, with eggs, yogurts, fruit, breads and other treats. Everything was fresh and delicious. We have special dietary requirements, and they made an exceptional effort to make sure that everything was suitable for our needs. We enjoyed exploring the island and going out to dinner (thanks to the great recommendations from the staff!), but perhaps our favorite evenings were ones where we stayed in – making ourselves Greek salads and enjoying the evening on our patio, watching the lights come on it Kastro. Perfection.
