Welcome to our charming and spacious family cabin in idyllic Eggedal!

Accommodating up to 13 guests across 4 bedrooms, a cozy sleeping alcove in the living room, and a private separate annex, this is the perfect getaway for large families and groups of friends seeking tranquility, nature, and authentic cabin charm. The cabin features two living rooms, providing plenty of space for everyone, as well as beautiful, sunny outdoor areas.

Authentic Fireplace Cozy Vibes: The main living room features a unique double fireplace built in stone. It includes an efficient Jøtul stove for quick, reliable heating, and an open fireplace right next to it for the ultimate cabin atmosphere and crackling flames.

Relaxation: Your own wonderful sauna, freely available throughout your stay.

Summer Activities: Short distance to a local lake with swimming and fishing opportunities, as well as great hiking trails (including the famous hike to the Madonna Statue).

Winter Activities: Cross-country ski trails run right outside the doorstep, and Haglebu/Norefjell Alpine Resorts are located approximately 45 minutes away.

The outdoor area invites you to enjoy long afternoons and cozy evenings under the starry sky:

BBQ Grill: Available on the terrace for enjoyable outdoor meals.

Fire Pit & Fire Pan: Perfect for roasting marshmallows/sausages or simply gathering around the flames (NB: May only be used when local regulations permit open fires).

🚗 Arrival, Parking & EV Charging

There is a driving road all the way to the cabin, with excellent parking spaces right outside the door. The road is plowed during the winter. (Please note: Vrbo's map can occasionally show a slight inaccuracy, but the driving directions you receive will be completely accurate).

EV Charger: A Type 2 charger (up to 11 kW) is available at the cabin. A charging cable is provided on-site. Charging is available for an additional fee.

🛏️ Practical Information

Please let us know well in advance of your arrival if you wish to book bed linens or final cleaning:

Linens & Towels: Duvets and pillows are provided for all sleeping arrangements. Bed sheets and towels must be brought with you, or they can be rented from us for NOK 225 per person.

Final Cleaning: You can choose to clean the cabin yourself before departure, or book a final cleaning service through us for NOK 1,800.

Pets: Four-legged family members are warmly welcome! 🐾

📹 Security & Privacy

The property has 1 active outdoor security camera located by the driveway entrance to ensure cabin security during periods with no bookings. This camera is completely deactivated whenever guests are staying at the property. The camera on the terrace is permanently unplugged from the electrical outlet and is not in use. Guest privacy is fully protected.
