Secret Gardens is located on the best part of Pagoda beach with clean perfect white sand that is cleaned daily. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious and clean and perfect for our family

I would like this place to remain as naturally as possible, close to nature, clean, and peaceful. For those who want something more lively, there's Long Set, provided that this place doesn't become like Long Set and remains authentic. The only thing that needs improvement is the boat transport. The crossing isn't comfortable, especially when the sea is rough. I think you'll get there quickly. As for the staff, they're excellent. The Khmer people so warm and welcoming that they remain so for as long as possible.

Totally relaxing resort. The scene is set when you walk along the beach to the hotel, from the Pagoda Ferry. From then on, no shoes required - flip-flops at most! Food great quality; staff were lovely; great upkeep of the grounds - and that beach and sea water were awesome! Accommodation is fairly functional; but everything you need is there. Good happy-hour between 5 and 7pm. If you need a change of scene, the You&Me beach bar happy hour (one minute walk along the sand) starts at 4.30pm!

This place is paradise. If we could stay longer we would have!!! The staff were lovely and the rooms are delightful. Quiet little villas to yourself. You don’t need to book the beach view room Beacuse the garden views are close enough.

Hôtel les pieds dans l’eau sur la plus belle plage de l’île. Excursions et nourriture de qualité à des tarifs convenables pour ce type d’établissement (plats à moins de 10€). Personnel très professionnel et toujours souriant.

Very little paradise! The beach was nice and clean. We had so much fun. The staff is nice and always smiling. Its also a very kid friendly place. Those few days were definitely a highlight moment of our month stay in Cambodia.

The beach is beautiful and Secret Garden definitely has the best stretch of beach on Pagoda Beach. I wouldn't stay here again though - i didn't sleep a full night in our 4 night stay. The roofs of the villas are tin and the noise when it rains is incredibly loud! plus the open air shower isn't great in the rain. poor sound insulation between villas as well. The restaurant has a problem with freshness of food. Yoghurt and butter inedible at breakfast. Stale croissant. Almost rotten fruit (very over ripe). Cooked breakfast options were ok. Generally breakfast was pretty poor - probably 2 star hotel standard. The palm trees were beautiful, the beach was beautiful (as long as you stayed on resort beach and don't venture up to building site near Pagoda Pier), good sun loungers and nice pool. Overall we felt the price exceeded the experience.

From the moment we landed in Cambodia to the moment we stepped onto the soft white sands of their private beach, the team at The Secret Garden Koh Rong made everything seamless and special. They arranged a driver to pick us up from the airport, took us to the pier, and even had a ferry waiting to bring us directly to their dock. The hospitality we received was beyond anything we expected. Every member of the staff made us feel truly at home. Though the restaurant typically caters to Western tastes, Sambo and One went out of their way to prepare special Khmer dishes just for us—showcasing their own take on flavors we know and love. One of the most memorable moments was a private beachfront dinner they set up just for our group—thoughtful, romantic, and unforgettable. They also arranged scooters for us to explore the island, had paddle boards and kayaks available, and even took us on a guided trip to local villages so we could experience the heart of the island and its kind, welcoming people. The infinity pool was perfectly situated with ocean views and easy access from every room. Our stay at The Secret Garden was filled with moments of joy, connection, and beauty. It was more than just a vacation—it was an experience that touched our hearts. Leaving was the hardest part.

If you’re looking for a quiet, semi-remote escape, this is a great spot. Easily the nicest hotel on this beach. The oceanfront room is spacious, tastefully minimalist, and the bed is super comfortable. The staff are warm and welcoming. The restaurant is decent, though a bit pricey. Just note—you’ll need a tuk tuk to get anywhere else, which typically costs at least $5 per person.

Lovely hotel in a stunningly beautiful part of Koh

We were picked up from the pier by hotel staff and were taken on a short walk on the beach to our hotel. We found our room clean and comfortable and were forever grateful for a perfectly working air con. All staff at the hotel were lovely and very helpful at all times. The restaurant served delicious food and there was a good choice of local and western dishes. You do feel a little isolated from the rest of the island but then we thought that the Pagoda beach was the nicest on the whole island. We would definitely stay again.

Our stay at the Secret Garden was just what we needed after 10 days of travels. From the miment we arrived on the island to the moment we left, the staff were so helpful and attentive. The room was exactly as it was in the photos and had great touches such as the bag for the beach towels and the pot for washing sand off our feet. The restaurant has a diverse menu and caters well for vegetarians / vegans but my only complaint would be that while the quality of the food was great, it lacked flavour and was a little bland

The staff were amazing! They created us with a smile and they knew my 5-year-old son's name within 10 minutes of arriving and went completely out of their way to make all of us feel fantastic. We had the family room which had a separate bedroom with a bunk bed and a tent and some blocks and a present for my son. The outdoor showers were fun! The water is gorgeous and the beaches are clean and they have stand-up paddle boards and kayaks that are free to use. They also have free filtered water by reception to refill water bottles and the massages were incredible on the beach. We will absolutely be back! Best hotel so far in Cambodia!

Loved this place. First time in cambodia and i must say, Koh Rong has the best beaches in the world.. this place we stayed was outstanding. Ill be back next year with my 5 kids for holidays here.
