Nice views and very remote yet close enough to Carbondale that we didn’t feel like it was a big distance to hang out in town and pick up some grocery items. Had a great time kayaking on the on-site pond. Also very close to many nature trails including a 5-minute drive to Panther Den trailhead. Overall, I would definitely come back.”

Plenty of nature hikes at Ferne Clyffe State park, and the Garden of the Gods is worth the short drive. The lake was calm and we enjoyed several kayak trips. We look forward to coming back!
