A wonderful place!

It was such a wonderful vacation, we felt so comfortable. We have never had such a great hostess and a house that leaves nothing to be desired. A great place to relax, but also a great starting point for city tours. We can recommend everything 100%.

Peaceful stay in a good location.

Excellent location of the house for exploring Tuscany. Big garden with a large pool. Absolutely private. House with good equipment. 4 air-conditioned double rooms with private bathroom and toilet. The large refrigerator showcase for drinks is very useful. Excellent arrangement with the lady Diana in charge of the house. We can definitely recommend.

Spacious well equipped house with tunning views

We loved our stay here, the owners were helpful and flexible on our arrival time which took the stress away as the traffic was heavy from the airport. The house was super, with excellent facilities especially the Air con and the views from the pool area and indeed the many outside spaces was stunning would not hesitate to come back when next in the area.

Mysigt hus med fantastisk Toscansk vy och utomhusmiljö. Mycket engagerad och tillmötesgående kontaktperson/fastighetsförvaltare! Litet kök och enbart en acceptabel dusch. Ett sovrum saknade AC, vilket inte framgick av beskrivning.

Rustic country living in a beautiful spot

Thus property allows accesd to all the great local places-cortona, pienza, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Siena, and Florence all within relatively short distances, often with magnificent scenery on the way. The house is a typical country house, with all the noises and critters you find in the countryside. The bedrooms upstairs have ac, and most windows have screens as the mosquitos are aggressive for about an hour each evening. Our host was super-responsive, despite some difficult personal stuff happening at the same time. If there was a problen she was able to address it the next day, or dispatch someone who could. The only two negatives (for which there was no remedy possible, though if it were, she would have made ut so) are that the house is attached to another property (different owner) whose septic tank overflowed, and the farmer at the bottom of the hill has a kennel full of dogs who howl for a while each time he arrives (It is the country!), which breaks the silence, but you get used to it. Lucignano is the small town on the hill across the valley 10 min, which is quiet, not touristy, and full of surprises. Make sure to check it out. Overall a lovely stay and a charming hostess.

Altes Steinhaus mit riesen Garten und grossem Pool

Das Grundstück ist sehr groß und der Pool ist schön. Es ist sehr abseits gelegen -nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit oder Café ist schon weiter weg (10-20min mit dem Auto). Aber wir waren darauf vorbereitet und deshalb war das auch ok für uns. Das Steinhaus ist älter und in typisch toskanischem Stil. Da gibt es auf dem Land auch mal die ein oder andere Spinne im Haus aber das liegt nicht an der Sauberkeit sondern am alten Haus bei dem wir die Türen auf hatten und es ländlich ist etc. Ansonsten war es schon sauber. Man darf keinen Luxus erwarten-es ist alles sehr einfach gehalten aber teilweise auch sehr liebevoll gemacht. Wir waren eigentlich immer draußen im Garten und auf den großzügigen Verandas und selten im Haus-nur zum schlafen. Check -in und auch die Betreuung vor Ort war super!die Gastgeberin Diana ist eine sehr nette und liebevolle Frau die es uns an nichts hat fehlen lassen und immer hilfsbereit und freundlich war und jederzeit erreichbar für uns war. Vielen Dank nochmal dafür! Also alles in allem hatten wir dort einen tollen Urlaub- ich hab jetzt in der Gesamtwertung nur einen „halben „ Punkt abgezogen weil mein Mann das Bett unbequem fand und es halt an manchen Stellen (Kleinigkeiten) nachgebessert werden könnte.

Beautiful garden, nice pool, nice house

We stayed with a party of 6 at this villa, and had a very pleasant experience. The garden has a variety of places to enjoy the sun in, and the the host, Diana, was nice and helpful. Would recommend. The extra fees were 100 euros for the end of week cleaning, and 70 euros for the electricity.

Nice property, spectacular views, but the interiors rather dissapointing

The property is really beautiful, located on the hill with the stunning view over the picturesque countryside and the medieval town of Rigomagno. There is a large swimming pool and a lovely garden, however the house itself could do with a bit of 'tender loving care'. It is a nice traditional farm house but neither well maintained nor cleaned properly, although additional cleaning fee is collected. The description of the house was a bit misleading. The property was listed as a 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms house, while one of the bedrooms was certainly not up to the standards with mould on one wall, electric wires sticking out of the other one and a noisy water boiler inside of the room. The bathroom downstairs was very nice but the second bathroom upstairs was just a small toilet with a shower head, and can be accessed through one of the bedrooms only. It was rather inconvenient that we had to deal with 4 different people. We booked through the travel agent who we talked to before. The check in and check out was handled by 3 different people. The owner and his son who did the ‘meet and greet’ were exceptionally nice and helpful (they gave us a lift when our car broke down on the way to the house). Sadly, the woman who turned up to do the check-out was quite opposite. She was unpleasant and her attitude was unacceptable. Clearly not a proper approach when one works in hospitality business. The overall impression was that, although the estate is big and beautifully situated, the rental was not a good value for money when compared to the other rentals in Tuscany.

Haus einfach aber sehr gut ausgestattet mit großem Garten und schönem Pool

Haus sehr abgelegen aber gute Anfahrtsbeschreibung. Zustand, vor allem Elektrik, mittelmäßig. Küche sehr gut bestückt, auch für anspruchsvolle Köche. Highlight ist der Garten mit Pool, aber auch die Terrassen. Eine davon immer mit Schatten. Gegend mit bewaldeten Hügeln, also nicht Toskana-typische bunte Felderteppiche auf Hügeln.

Superfint hus med underbar pool och trädgård

Superfint hus med lugnt läge. Stor trädgård med jättefin pool. Kommer gärna tillbaka, så jag kan verkligen rekommendera detta hus. All kontakt med ägarna har fungerat superbra och dom har varit väldigt trevliga och tillmötesgående. Bra läge för att göra utflykter till alla mysig byar och vindistrikt. Restaurangen Scroccazucche i närmaste by kan verkligen rekommenderas.

Les + : Maison bien située, idéale pour aller visiter Sienne, Arezzo et autres villages alentours. Grande piscine avec salon de jardin sympa. Les - : Intérieur mal agencé. Propreté à revoir. Odeur insupportable dans une des chambre. Literie vétuste. Draps et serviettes d'un autre temps. Réfrigérateur H.S. (remplacé pendant notre séjour). Climatisation pas efficace qui ne refroidie pas du tout la véranda orientée plein sud.

We had a lovely few days at the villa. It's private and the grounds are beautiful. The views are amazing, especially from the pool! The BBQ was well used and the closest restaurant Scroccazucche (a short drive away) comes highly recommended!

Charmant accueil par Diana, la propriétaire. Endroit idyllique, au sommet d'une colline, dans un endroit verdoyant et très calme. Jolie piscine dans l'oliveraie et grand terrain sur lequel les enfants ont toute la place pour jouer. Maison agréable et équipée à suffisance, pour de jolies vacances. Mention spéciale pour les beaux fauteuils de terrasse ! Depuis la maison, la plupart des beaux sites du sud de la Toscane sont facilement accessibles (voie rapide à quelques kilomètres). Location à conseiller vivement.

Nice house with beautifull garden. .

We stayed wih 4 adults and 2 children. The location is perfect. Beautifull views from the pool area. Very central towards Siena, Arezzo en Cortona. Going down the hill you will find a very good ristorante Scroccazucche. The house is very cosy and is very practical. The second bathrooms in one of the bedrooms is better usefull is more a big toilet then a bathroom. We loved it here.
