Overall stay was pleasant for the resort and surroundings, but there were several important issues compared to the listing.
The main issue is the distance from the beach: about 10 minutes walking or 4 minutes by car, not 100 meters as indicated. We chose this property for its proximity to one of the most beautiful beaches on the island and had to rent a car (around $750) to reach it.
Other discrepancies:
dryer listed but not available; natural ventilation not sufficient—without mosquito nets windows cannot be opened, forcing use of air conditioning at night with extra costs; heavy presence of mosquitoes, resulting in around 100 bites in a few days. We had to buy electric repellents, use cortisone creams and even seek medical advice.
The apartment is inside a golf area (nice location), but from 8 a.m. there is noise from maintenance machines affecting rest.
Interior issues:
dated kitchen without extractor hood; fridge leaking water every night (reported); no vacuum cleaner; broken veranda shutter/window allowing constant entry of air, insects and even small lizards; limited kitchen equipment (no deep plates); insufficient pillows (extra requested but never provided).
All the above issues were clearly documented with photos.
Positive aspects:
new sofa and TV, good mattresses, many power outlets, fast WiFi.
Management was kind, smooth check-in and appreciated late check-out, but overall the property does not match the listing.
Recommended only if aware of these issues.
