Nikiti and the surrounding area are known for the green pine forests, the numerous small bays with beautiful sandy beaches and crystal clear water and for the local specialities such as honey, olive oil, fish and wine. Nikiti has developed into the centre of Sithonia and has all the infrastructure facilities such as banks, post office, supermarkets, tavernas, medical centres, weekly market and is also lively all year round. At the newly built marina, boat owners offer inexpensive day trips.
