“I visit Springfield at least once a year, this is my second stay at the hartness house, I’ve stayed in the mansion and in the hotel, I have been very happy with both options. The mansion is stunning and enjoying a coffee and pastry in the mansion in the morning is lovely. I’m glad to see this historic building being taken care of so thoughtfully. ”
“This is a great stop over motel. Bed was comfortable and I didn't hear any noises from other quests rooms. Not a crowded place in the summer. I went in July and the air conditioner was excellent, easy to adjust. I like white noise when I sleep and the air conditioner does make a hum and a few clicks now and then but not in the least disturbing. No clanging or rattling. Pillows comfortable. The only thing I thought a bit lacking was a table. I used the ironing board as a dining table which worked...
“The Harvest Barn Inn is a delight. The Inn itself is tucked up into the hillside above the river with a lovely view from the front porch and the main common area downstairs.
We were greeted warmly on arrival, and our room (the Terrace Room) was cuter in person than in the online pictures. It was perfect”
