  • Hart Haus is a stunning newly remodeled home tucked away in the charming town of Skykomish near the end of a quiet road that ends where the vast forest begins. This is the ideal place to call home in between your mountain adventures. Stevens Pass Mountain Resort is just 15 minutes away, offering year round activities such as snow sports, downhill biking, scenic lift rides and disc golf- in addition to all the other famous recreation the PNW is known for. Take a stroll through the neighborhood or bring your bikes- the paved roads are perfect for easy exploration of the area.

    This property is in the railroad town of Skykomish and the train blows the whistle as it runs through town. The track runs through the middle of town. Read honest guest feedback in our reviews. Property was spacious & clean. The kitchen fully stocked with a lot of counter space. The house has cabinets, cabinets & more cabinets! The hot tub was amazing. Very clean & hot. A bonus in the en suite bathroom is a huge walkin shower with double shower heads & a bench. Plus a bidet with a seat warmer 10/10. Will definitely stay again when in the area.

Great spot, close to Stevens Pass

Our family had an excellent stay at Hart Haus. Clean, nicely appointed, very close to Stevens Pass for a couple of days of spring skiing. We will definitely consider booking it again!

This was our second stay here. It is conveniently located near where our pack was staying for scouts, but secluded enough for us to be comfortable. The hot tub is our favorite amenity, and the only thing that would make this a better stay would be king sized beds, but that is becuase I am spoiled. The beds are comfortable, the house is clean, and we appreciate being able to rent this home.

Perfect Stay for Stevens Pass trip

Such a spacious home! Perfect place to stay if you are looking to be near Stevens Pass. Location is also near restaurants and gas station! Everything you need, and the hot tub was a great way to end the night. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Great clean place

We just slept here and didn’t spend much time but it was still fantastic. Very clean and comfortable. Great comfy couches and beds were great. The only thing I would suggest is more towels or at least separate ones to use for the hot tub.

Great weekend

The house is great and we had a lovely time. Everything was clean and instructions were easy to follow. The only issue we had was with the raised board in front of the 2 bedrooms. We tripped a few times and would have loved it if it would hav been better marked. Regardless, we would love to come back next year!

Comfortable stay in a cute town

We had a great time at the Hart Haus. It had all the essentials for a lovely stay. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes and cutlery. There was an Instant Pot, coffee maker/keurig, plenty of pots/pans and cooking utensils. Lots of towels. The bed in the master bedroom was quite firm and the pillows more stuffed than we usually like, but we brought our pillows with us so did fine. There was a high chair and crib as well. Even a dog bed and dog waste bags. The yard is small but was plenty of space for the dogs to do their business. No grassy area for lawn games, but the small deck was nice to sit out on and the hot tub was relaxing. We went on a weekend and our 3 year old loved the mini train rides down the street. We also found an easy hike to a nearby lake up towards Gold Bar. It was a quiet, relaxing stay.

Hart Hause in June

There are lots of awesome things about Hart Hause, and Skykomish itself is a very picturesque spot in June. Location is a very quite end of street right in town, there's a short 1/3rd mile hike directly behind the house down to the creek that runs behind town and over to a different street the post office is on. 100 feet and your on national forest service land. It's also far enough from the railway with good windows so train noise is very muted. In Skykomish that matters as the morning train is at 3:30 a.m. Speaking of railway Saturday/Sunday the town has a mini ride on one for kids thats free and great for age 2-10. Amenities: Master bathroom is fantastic, double sink, double showerhead, very large shower, nice bidet the wife appreciated. Minor nit when they did an obviously extensive remodel they missed the molding and it's getting kind of gross. The bedrooms were all very nice, and the place is really well stocked. The beds were a bit firm, but not outside of what you'd find at a firm bed at a hotel. Just about anything you'd expect a host to stock they do. Second minor nit they need softer towels the towels were clean, nice looking and plenty, but more mid scale hotel, than fancy chalet. Livingroom and kitchen are also well set up, and fireplace gave a fantastic ambiance. Jacuzi is large easy to use and one of cleanest we've seen, ready on arrival. Chlorine was a bit strong so be careful if sensitive. Overall strong recommend with some minor nits. Will stay again
