“The Cactus House is an excellent location. Owners and their communication were excellent. Beautiful 3 bedroom home with wonderful front porch and amazing back deck and yard. The main bedroom has its own bathroom and bath/shower. The owners have other fantastic homes on their property. Greta hiking. And, only about 10 minutes from old downtown Bastrop with wonderful restaurants, pub and shopping. Would highly recommend Piney Creek Chop House for happy hour and dining and Maxine's for breakfast....

“Fridge didn't cool, had to throw food away this morning. Ceiling fan and light would not turn off. Had to sleep with light on all night. Didn't notice until we were ready for bed at midnight. Not much sleep. Musty odor never went away. No coffee creamer. Bed's mediocre. Front door key was of no use because door knob didn't catch. We had to use the padlock every time we left and it was very hard to open.”

“Tiny house located pretty close to COTA, stayed here for a brief 2 day vacation. Very clean on the inside and out. Only reason I didn't give it a five stars was the upper bed is basically useless with how hot it gets up there by the skylight right now during the summer. Attempted to sleep up there by plugging in the provided fan but said fan would cause vibrations/echo up through the house, also tried turning down the a/c, leaving then coming back and upstairs was still very warm. They also had few post cards that I appreciated as I often send snail mail of trips to friends. Enjoyed the pool & spent most of my time there.
