Overall, we did enjoy the cabin. The location is very good. About a 5 to 7 minute walk to the ski slopes near the top of the Souring Eagle Lift. We found this to be very convenient. Also, it is easy for someone to drop you off by car at the top of the Souring Eagle Lift as well. The cabin was well stocked with items such as dishwashing detergent, coffee, coffee filters, paper towels, toilet, paper, etc. The hot tub worked well and we enjoyed it. The televisions in the different rooms worked well and we also enjoyed the fireplace. The cabin is a bit dated. The areas that could be improved is the old carpeting, the bedroom mattresses were extremely soft and should be replaced and new bedroom pillows as well. Also, the primary bathroom shower is very small. The owner was very responsive to our communications. Overall, if you’re planning a trip to Snowshoe, we do recommend this cabin. We rated four stars because of the overall condition of the cabin relative to the price paid.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cozy Cabin Retreat. It comfortably accommodated our 2 families with 5 young children. The house was very well equipped. And the owner was very responsive. We definitely recommend this house!

Excellent, accommodating and communicative host! The house is within eyeshot of the soaring eagle lift, which makes for a super easy morning with kids eager to get on the slopes. House is cost and charming— good layout for two families. Highly recommend!

Great Snowshoe Rental

My family and I had a great stay at this beautiful property. It was well stocked and easy to get to the slopes. Had an issue with hot water and it was quickly taken care of by the property owner. Highly recommend!

A wonderful ski weekend getaway!

This was the perfect winter escape for a families looking to ski. Excellent location with easy access to Snowshoe village and the various mountains for tubing and skiing. The house was wonderful - exceptionally clean and family friendly. We will certainly be back!

The Place We'll Return To

These cabins are fantastic, a stone's throw from the Eagle Swoop lift at the Top of the World. There's also a shuttle stop at the entrance to the complex making it convenient to get to other parts of the mountain. We love the privacy of a stand alone unit with parking right in front. The master bedroom and kitchen/living areas are particularly spacious, nice for all of your coolers and gear. We prepared all of our meals and the kitchen is well stocked for that with a large dining table that everyone fit around comfortably. The decks and hot tub are also a big plus. Communication with the owner was positive, they were very responsive and have helpful tips to share. We'll definitely come back here.

Perfect Cabin Getaway

The property had everything we needed! It was in a great location just down the street from Top of the World, and there was a bus stop right at the end of the street which was very convenient. I was concerned that with only 1800 sqft it might be too small, but with a family of 10 it was just right, and everyone had their own space. We stayed in and cooked all but 2 meals for a full week, and the kitchen had everything we needed for appliances and cookware. Austin the host was very easy to communicate with and gave a lot of additional insight about the area and the house to make it the perfect vacation! Highly recommend for your family and/or friends!

Wonderful home, Great Location!

We had a wonderful stay at this home! The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed during our stay. The bedrooms accommodated our family and dogs well. The living area and kitchen were spacious and well equipped. There was a nice heated entry when coming into the cabin to unload and store all our ski equipment. The location was great and just a short walk to the slopes. We would definitely stay here again!

Cass Scenic Railroad Trip

We loved everything about our stay. Property is awesome and was clean. Directions for everything were clear. Austin is super responsive and easy to get ahold of. Would definitely book again if we were going to be back in the area.

Celebration of Life Family Gathering

The property is very roomy but I was charged an extra $50 dollars for the ninth person when the property sleeps 10 in actual beds (bedrooms) ?? If you plan to use the Gas Grill take your own Grill Cleaning Supplies (Grill Scraper etc) I spent an hour cleaning it before using it! Over all we enjoyed our stay and I would consider booking the property in the future.

Perfect Ski House

Plenty of space for two families with teen age kids. The house was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well-stocked as we brought food and prepared all meals in the house. Austin is a very responsive host and immediately assisted when we inadvertently disconnected the WiFi (our mistake). Location is perfect, you could easily walk to Top of the World and ski from there. Highly recommend, we will stay again!
