Very nice property. The amount of space in this unit stands out compared to many of the other 2br/2ba units in the Mountain Lodge. Kitchen was stocked very well. If you stayed at the mountain lodge before the big renovation, give this unit a try and you’ll be amazed.

This was an amazing place to stay on the mountain. It’s even bigger than it seems on the photos. It was perfect for our party of 5. Spacious kitchen and nice big dining table. The views are insane! The host was very responsive and provided us all the information we needed before we arrived. I would absolutely come back!

We loved the condo. The proximity to the slopes was amazing. The only issue we had was that the ski school was directly below the living room windows, so it was quite loud during the day. If you are out skiing, you wouldn’t notice it though.

Nice place right on the slopes

Great spot for skiers and snowboarders as right next to the main lift and a short 2 min walk to the village. The only drawback is the unit is on the first floor of a condo unit (think hotel with condos for each room). The main lobby was a bit loud in the evening and early in the morning. With the thin walls we heard a good amount of noise from that area while going to bed and bright and early. Otherwise everything worked and was great

Our Fall trip to West Virginia

The condo was immaculate plus it is so nicely decorated! My husband, myself and one of our adult children joined us so it was the perfect size for the three of us. The Mountain Views were also beautiful. We came to Cass to take the Greenbrier Durban train and then thoroughly enjoyed staying at Snowshoe for 2 nights. I highly recommend this property!

Great location and view

Great location! Just a few steps to the lifts and to the village with restaurants. Amazing view from windows! Very good speedy internet. Very old fashioned furniture takes you back in a time like you come to visit your grand grand parents house. There is a fireplace, but no wood for it. The email says it's outside the unit in a wooden box, we found it it's said wood only, but there were trash only. So bring your own. It's very noisy in the lobby that is right outside the unit. If you plan to go to bed before 10pm you definitely needs an ear plugs! There no kettle, if you like tea you need to boil water in the pot or use microwave. Very cheap on trash bags and cleaning supplies. One trash bag is not enough for 5 days stay. We were coming from Florida and was already on our way when receive an email with explanation, so we were need to make an extra stop to purchase additional stuff. Overall experience is good. Will recommend!

Very nice place to stay!

This rental had a beautiful view and a very nice comfortable sitting area. The kitchen was supplied with essentials and had a large table for everyone to sit at. We enjoyed the Cass train ride and the scenic byway which were both conveniently located.

Was a very nice view. Don’t think could have gotten much better. Issues were that was a wedding there and the reception with a very loud DJ was right under other floor. Was told fireplace worked but it didn’t. Was a slide bottom left, to the left smoke poured in. To the right still did but not as much but still did a lot to where we had to throw water on it to put it out. Not sure when it was last rented but dirty. Top of bed was white with dust. Dirt and corn chips on kitchen floor. Other then that it was nice, well equipped.

Ski/Snowboarding Trip

We had a wonderful time. The unit was as described. It was very clean, the decor was beautiful, and the view was amazing. We love visiting Snowshoe, but have been disappointed with accommodations in the past. We would definitely stay here again.

perfect location

Great little property right on the mountain with easy access to slopes. Only downside was the lodge in general was very warm and interior rooms got hot at night. Great trip, great place!
