6/10
I've stayed at and skiied alot of the different areas in Utah and this one is unique. It takes the name "Solitude" seriously as it felt like the place was mostly abandoned. We were there later season, but it was wild to me that the base area didnt even really have any restaurants, bars, or coffee shops. Of the couple of options that existed, they had limited hours and everything was firmly shut by 9pm. In the morning even getting a cup of coffee was a challenge. The unit itself was comfortable but felt like no one had been there for a loooong time. The pantries were full of old cerial and canned goods. The dishwasher was full and reaked of mildew because the dishes had obviously been sitting there for a while. It was fundamentally clean, but certainly not pristine. It was fine, but I'd recommend staying in town and just driving up here to ski vs staying here.
