  • Element House cottage is spacious and charming, located next to Element House on a beautiful 5 acres parcel with 3 acres of vines. It is quite and peaceful with mesmerizing views.

    The cottage has 1 bed and 1 bathroom. The breakfast nook is outfitted with table, mini refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. The bathroom is large with a roomy tile shower. Start your day enjoying the morning sun and the views of the surrounding vineyards. Spend a day wine tasting at the 20+ wineries nearby. The wineries of Fair Play road are just minutes away. Plenty of other outdoor activities are options for you with the Cosumnes River just less than 1 mile away. You are walking distance from the local market and Pioneer Park. End your day taking in a stunning sunset then enjoying a glass of your favorite wine gazing at the star filled Sierra Nevada night sky.

Hidden Gem in the heart of wine country!

A wonderful cottage close to element 79 with a great set up that was comfortable for us and our 8 week newborn to share. Plenty of space heaters to keep us warm too :)

Nice retreat near multiple wineries

A great stay with only minor issues: (1) gate code was very temperamental and (2) you have to pull the cottage door towards you when trying to lock the door. Love the location. Close to wineries and a gas station.

Weekend stay

Everything was just wonderful! The cottage was very clean, welcoming, and quiet. We enjoyed staying there and celebrating our friends that got married in the area! We would recommend people to book, and stay there to relax and enjoy! The communication and help was superb as well! Thank you Kelly for all your help!

No kids weekend

We always love coming to the Fairplay area. This was a new place to stay for us and we really enjoyed it. It has everything you need in a beautiful spot. Our only complaint is that the bed is really hard, too much for our liking. Get a foam mattress topper on there and it would be perfect.

Beautiful place

This was such a cute little cottage! It was our first time away in almost 3 years since we have kids so it was very special. Kelly allowed me to check in early so I could decorate the room to Surpise my fiancé . And when we got there, there was a welcome board personalized with our names and a bottle of wine for us to enjoy. It couldn’t have been any more perfect.

Wonderful escape

My husband and I “escaped” from the confines of sheltering in place to attend a funeral nearby. It was a delight to stay at the cottage and to get a change of scenery. As soon as we walked in, the place smelled refreshingly brand new! It was charming, clean and fresh. The cottage was appointed with fluffy white towels, high-end soaps and lotions, a well appointed kitchenette with microwave, coffee maker, toaster and small fridge. The cottage also had access to a sunny seating area where we ate breakfast and dinner (Chinese takeout) outside with a view of the property’s vineyards. Because of Covid, we were unable to wine taste at the owner’s Element 79 winery, but we were greeted with a nice bottle of zinfandel from the vineyard in our cottage. We look forward to coming back when they re-open for tastings! The winery is as inviting and trendy as the finest Napa wineries. Met the owners and they were delightful people. We’ll be back!

The property was perfect for us. It was a great location. Close proximity to the wedding we attended and so many wineries nearby! The place was extremely clean, well decorated, and plenty of room. Les and Sharon were great hosts! Very friendly and so easy to communicate with. Their winery, Element 79 was amazing as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. I highly recommend this property!

Efficient cottage on a peaceful property in the hills.
