“Cozy hotel with very sympathetic and welcoming staff. It feels very much like home. The rooms are fine and clean. Their restaurant has a menu with good options for lunch and dinner. It does not have a lift, so, if carrying heavy luggage, it might be a little effort. The curtains in the bathroom could be a little thicker to make the shower experience more pleasant. Otherwise, I only have compliments on the quality of the premises, the service and the personnel. ”

“Everything was exactly as you wanted. The only reason that I reduced my review is because there was an unsightly mark on the sheet and I think people should pay more attention when they make the bed cause this was not very pleasant at all I was woken late that night by people talking outside my room. I don’t quite know why, and obviously nobody can do anything about that except the guests themselves by being more considerate. With luck it’s just an exception.”

“The Room was clean but tired? The bathroom was very tired but worked. Piping hot water.. and a big of water stained bath? The decor in the bathroom was very tired- but it was clean. The bed was VERY comfortable. The room was much bigger than I expected. For the price I would stay here again.. Incredible value. The chap who booked me in.. Young lad.. very pleasant and polite. “I stayed at this hotel recently and overall had a good experience. The check-in process was smooth and the staff were very welcoming. The room was clean, tidy, and had all the basic amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The location of the hotel was convenient, making it easy to explore nearby places. The service from the staff was professional and they were always ready to help when needed. I would definitely consider staying here again in the future and recommend it to travelers looking...

“Very run down with no signs of trying to fix anything. Friendly enough staff, but clueless. I had to move rooms after the first night. The radiator in room 218 couldn't be turned off and it was 25 degrees. The ceiling in the bathroom has water damage from above and the plaster was cracked and falling down. The second room I was given, room 317, had more problems. The window had broken seals, so let in a lot of wind and noise from the street. I found 2 empty Absolut vodka bottles wedged...

“Bedbug infestation caused us to leave at 11:00pm with nowhere to go. Expedia did not offer to help find an alternate. Still waiting for the promised refund, but we ended up abandoning our visit to see our daughter and drive home in the early hours. Absolutely shocking.”

“The room was OK, but finding the hotel and finding the room within the hotel were both very difficult. They also asked for an additional card checking fee before check-in, though thankfully they waived this when we queried it. The remote check in made the start of the stay very stressful, but once we were in it was fine. There are some lovely period features in the property, but some of the paneling is actually wallpaper!”
