This can already be seen from the outside of this pleasant rural property, which is surrounded by fields and old trees, creating an unspoilt atmosphere. Even though the house is a new build, the experienced owners have preserved Mallorcan traditions by installing a magnificent natural stone façade. The cheerful, light-coloured sandstone and the sea foam turquoise-coloured shutters create a harmonious ensemble. The L-shaped terraces are south-facing and offer both covered and open spaces. In the outdoor area there is a great, very practical outdoor kitchen with a built-in barbecue. There is also plenty of space for an impressive number of sun loungers, which you can place as you wish around the malachite-coloured pool to either soak up the sun or retreat to the shade of a large parasol with a good book. Take a little nap and surrender to the relaxed flow of the day - not hectic, without appointments and obligations, but self-determined with a touch of freedom. Anything is possible. The shady part of the terrace lies under a wonderfully cosy bamboo roof. It has a dining area with comfortable wicker chairs where you can enjoy the panoramic view over the countryside during your meals or when you sit outside with friends in the evening.
Pedra Viva is a lively, light-flooded house with a compact floor plan and modern furnishings. The rooms are mostly open-plan and furnished with simple, minimalist furniture, which in this case is a good example of the saying less is more. Large floor tiles, light, whitewashed walls, wooden beams and terracotta-clad hipped ceilings combine with the bright furnishings to create a refreshingly light yet cosy atmosphere. The same applies to the living room with LCD TV and open fireplace. Next to it is the dining area with wooden furniture directly in front of the kitchen. It has a semi-open design as it is located behind a brick opening with a wicker arch and a small counter. The cupboards are made of solid stone with simple shutters. Of course, the kitchen is fully equipped with all the technical utensils, dishwasher and cooker with ceramic hob to make cooking together relaxed and entertaining. The bedrooms are also located on the ground floor: there are three bedrooms, which are furnished with either two single beds with a width of 1 metre or a 2 metre wide double bed. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, while the remaining two bedrooms share an open-plan shower room with a stylish industrial touch. Overall, the progressive villa is a very enticing guest house, as it makes you want to pack your bags today to spend some relaxing time there.

It's different in the big coastal resorts like Cala Millor, Cala Bona or Cala Ratjada but a day at the beach can still be relaxing, especially swimming in the gentle waters of the Mediterranean, some of which are Blue Flag and lined with fine sand. You can enjoy the absolute tranquillity of the countryside with views of the plain or take a 5-minute drive into town to stroll through the farmers' market on a Friday.
