🏡 A Little About Horizon Hideaway

Built in 2022, we knew right away that this home, peaceful setting and incredible view were something we wanted to share with others.

Horizon Hideaway is proudly hosted by a retired Canadian Armed Forces member & Retired Nurse. We take pride in every detail—from the cleanliness and comfort of the suite to the gardens, outdoor spaces and private spa experience. We’ve put a lot of care into creating a place where guests can arrive, settle in and truly relax.

🥂 Drinks Available: A selection of beverages is available for purchase right inside the suite.

📍 Close to Everything: Enjoy a peaceful setting just minutes from downtown Sooke, with restaurants, food trucks, pubs, groceries, pharmacies and local amenities nearby. We live on site and are happy to answer questions or help make your stay as seamless and enjoyable as possible.

🌊 Views You Won’t Forget: Perched approximately 500 feet above sea level, Horizon Hideaway offers sweeping views across Sooke Basin, the Strait of Juan de Fuca and toward Washington’s Olympic Mountains.

🌅 Start your morning with coffee at your private viewpoint lounge set, taking in the incredible views, and end your day watching the sky transform over the water as the sun sets.

✨ Evenings Under the Stars: On clear nights, wrap up in a soft blanket, enjoy the stars and listen to the relaxing sound of our 6,000 lb cascading water feature.

🛏️ Comfortably Sleeps 2–4: The suite features two private bedrooms, each with a comfortable queen-sized bed—perfect for couples, friends or a small family getaway.

🍳 Fully Equipped Kitchen: Quartz countertops, full-sized refrigerator, Keurig, convection oven/toaster, microwave, cookware, dishes and everything you need to prepare a meal during your stay.

📺 Relax & Recharge: The open-concept living and dining space comfortably seats four and features a 65-inch TV with soundbar, Firestick, Amazon Prime and high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the suite.

🚿 A Little Everyday Luxury: Start your day with an invigorating rain-head shower with excellent water pressure.

🧖 Your Private Outdoor Spa: Step outside and unwind in your private hot tub, warm up in the cedar wood-fired barrel sauna, or refresh beneath the outdoor hot & cold shower while taking in the views.

🌲 Designed for Relaxation: Multiple outdoor seating areas give you plenty of space to enjoy the scenery, relax after a day exploring Sooke or settle in for a peaceful evening beneath the stars.
