The RV was as described. Comfy, with everything needed for our stay. The proximity to the owners house was a bit of a surprise but not a problem. We saw the owners when we checked in but then not again. The hot tub and seating area were very private.

If you like the forest (we did!), and private hot tub, proximity to beaches, lighthouse, hikes, good food in the area, starry starry skies, super helpful hosts who keep their distance, and West Coast ambience, then this is the place for you.The RV has all the conveniences given that it is dated. New appliances, comfortable bed, lots of light from windows.

Ian was a responsive host. The RV is a bit older but well maintained. Great place to stay if you like outdoor activities , while still being close to amenities (groceries, gas, pharmacy, etc) Looking forward to coming back!

This unit was exactly as described It has everything you need or want. The bed is comfy. There's even a washer and dryer. It is located next to the owbers who are available if you need them, but we were provided utmost privacy. Have the hot tub was a great addition. Great location fro exploring the area.

Beautiful location. Quiet and relaxing atmosphere, near beaches, walking trails and excellent restaurants. Hot tub wonderful after a day exploring the Sooke area and beyond!

A really nice setup, lots of privacy and easy access to the hot tub from the camper. The camper had everything we need. Hosts were available without being invasive. Will visit again!

Enjoyed this property immensely. The outdoor amenities including the hot tub, BBQ and fire pit were terrific additions. Having laundry facilities was a great bonus. The sleep number bed and ambiance of the electric fireplace made time spent inside very comfortable.

The stay was great for our family of 4. We were able to soak in a hot tub after a good amount of hiking. We enjoyed the gas firepit while enjoying our morning coffee. We even had a visit from a couple of bald eagles. Enjoyed it all.

Beautiful private property. We felt like we were in the woods, not just the back of someones property. The fireplace inside was lovely as was the propane firepit and hot tub. We did all our cooking inside - huge fridge and lots of kitchen space. The bed was super comfy. We even watched the hockey game... we werent expecting to be able to do that. We explored China Beach and french beach, and the local beaches too as well as Sooke. Thanks Ian and Jodi for being great hosts ❤️

The area is abundant in beaches and quaint places to visit. We were greeted by the hosts, Ian and Jodi, who gave us a tour of the RV and amenities. They were great! We made good use of the hot tub and fire pit. The RV contained everything you'd need for your stay. Enjoy!

The Great Escape is an affordable option in a great location for enjoyment of the west coast beaches and sights along the "Circle Route" and along Hwy 14. We enjoyed the hot tub, private accommodation, nearby lighthouse and Shirley Delicious coffee shop. The host personally walked us through the RV showing us everything in detail before leaving us to enjoy our stay.

The Great Escape, offers just that. Thank you for a wonderful retreat. The motorhome felt like my very own forest ship! Lady, my dog and I really enjoyed exploring the area and walking all the beaches. We enjoyed ourselves so much, thanks and hope to be back! Grace and Lady Bear

Better than advertised in our opinion. Epic beaches, epic accommodations, epic hosts. No question that we will be back. For a more practical description, you get the camping experience without having to sacrifice any comfort or convenience. Propane fire pit and private hot tub to relax by after a day hiking amazing beaches. Queen bed, sleep number and very comfy. Don't miss Shirley Delicious or Stoked. Our hosts were lovely. Cheers!

We really enjoyed our stay for 3 nights in this motorhome. Although it's a bit older, Ian and Jodi keep it in tip top shape. Super clean inside with everything we needed. The queen sized bed is very comfortable with nice linens and great mattress. The hot tub was perfect and hot! We didn't end up using the propane fire pit as we were happy crawling in after busy days on the island. Friendly owners were very helpful but allowed needed privacy too. They gave us two great restaurants options nearby that were soooo good. Shirley Delicious and Stoked Fire pizza are an absolute must. Cute vibes and really great food. Best pizza we've had in a while. Wouldn't hesitate to rent again:)
