Great location. Amore was very responsive when we sent email. Kitchen is limited. Advertised as glamorous. You have to put that in context that European doesn’t matchUS. it was convenient to ferries, restaurants near.

Great location

We loved the location and the apartment but had major plumbing issues. We were in town for a wedding and it was HOT OUT which required daily showers for our 3 days of events. I called to say one of the showers had no hot water and they replied later in the day that someone would repair it the next day. The repair didn’t work so I told them we still had no hot water. In the meantime the sink backed up in the one bathroom with hot water but I was afraid to use it for fear of back up there. We all took ice cold showers in the other bathroom. Finally, after our wedding on our sleep in day they came to fix the sink & shower. She called at 9:30 saying they wanted to come at 10:30 and I asked for the afternoon. I went back to sleep only to be woken by a gal showing 2 plumbers into the apartment. I had to wake my family & leave. Upon return the backed up sink was still disgusting ~ but drained and the plumbers left dirt & debris everywhere in both showers and both bathrooms. They walked with shoes on all our towels. If they get the plumbing fixed you can’t beat the location. Air conditioning did work well! Only 2 rolls of toilet paper for 5 people for 5 days~ I couldn’t find a store to buy it. Thankfully, the delicious restaurant down the alley gave me a few rolls when I asked the waiter where I could purchase toilet paper.

No hot water. Had to call the owner multiple times No water pressure, very difficult to shower. Had to call the owner for them to send a technician. Bathroom sink was blocked had to get it unblocked. I’m the add it said there was free parking. We had to pay 50euros a day for parking. Did not enjoy our stay and very disappointed.

Comfortable apartment in a great location!

The location is phenomenal-right in the heart of the shops and restaurants on via San Caesareo and a short block away from the Sorrento Cathedral and the shops on Corso Italia. The apartment is very comfortable, and the four balconies in the apartment gave us a cool vantage point to check out the lively street below. One of the listed bedrooms is a pass-through to the 3rd bedroom and the 2nd bathroom that is past that, but our family was comfortable with that setup. It is not possible to get a shuttle or van to the apartment. You will have to make the short trip down the street to/from Piazza Tasso with your luggage which can be a little challenging with the crowds on the street. The only problem we encountered was that we were only given two rolls of toilet paper and the handsoap in both bathrooms was nearly empty on arrival. When we told management about this, we were told that we had to supply our own soap and toilet paper. We were also not aware of the rules for trash and recycling which can only go out on certain days. Be sure to ask about these rules at check-in. Although we would likely not stay here again, I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a good location in the heart of Sorrento.

Not what was expected

This is NOT a three bedroom apartment. The third is actually a sitting room with sofa outside the master bedroom. If u use this room the master bedroom would lose its closet and the access to the master would be through this room. We had trouble with hot water and a chirping sound from an alarm in the apartment. It took management two days to fix. The master bedroom shower had visible mold that was supposed to be cleaned but was not. We were told the cleaning person could not get in yet we were also told that management had their own key. Were we supposed to spend one of our days in Sorrento waiting for the cleaning people? The kitchen promised a coffee machine but there was only a water kettle and a very small espresso pot. When I tried to iron the ironing board collapsed and was never replaced by management even though I informed them by the second out of seven days we stayed there. The location of this apartment is very good although a bit noisy because it is on a busy pedestrian street and is on the first floor of the building.

Disappointed

Good location but can be noisy early morning and late at night. Property manager difficult to contact during check in despite trying phone, email, WhatsApp and Viber. Property manger 30 minutes late during check in ~2:30. Arrived before noon with no where to leave luggage so sat outside of coffee shop for almost 3 hours. Property manager quick to leave after arrival. Did not feel a warm welcome. WiFi did not work initially but was fixed. No hot water. Attempted to fix and had hot water for a day then cold again. Water pressure not good. Showers with moldy grout. Limited toiletries. One tiny bar of soap for 5 people for 5 nights. Otherwise shampoo packets and two tiny bottles of shower gel. Comforters with hairs and visible dirt. I would say comfortably sleeps 5. Need to step through bedroom to get to another bedroom. I think overpriced for what you get. Staying at a hotel next time!

Great location!

We were 4 adults and 2 children (11 & 8). The apartment is very centrally located in the middle of shops, restaurants and Sorrento city center. It’s less than a 10 minute walk downhill to the port to catch ferries or boats to other cities, like Capri or Positano. One kid slept on the daybed attached to the second bedroom and the other slept on the couch in the living room. There was a trundle set up in the living room but it took up the entire space so we slid it back under the couch to give us more room in the living area. The space felt a bit cramped with 6 people. We did have an issue with the hot water but they were quick to respond and someone was at the apartment to fix it within 30 minutes. They were great to communicate with and were very responsive prior to our arrival and during our stay. The building is secure, but be aware that it is not accessible by car. It is between a 5-10 walk on cobblestones, depending on where you are dropped off, to the front door of the apartment. Just something to be aware of if you have issues walking or have lots of luggage. Overall, our stay there was great. Sorrento is a lovely place to visit!

Location, location, location! Perfect spot for a family of 5 with kids in teens and 20s. Roberta and Davide were very responsive and accommodating throughout our stay. Bellisimo!!!

Best location!

We had such a great stay here! It’s on this pedestrian street filled with little markets, stores, food etc. Walking distance to the train station and the beach as well as where we met our tour guides. We didn’t cook but loved having the big fridge for water. The only issue we had was lack of hot water but their maintenance person fixed it right after we alerted them. Super appreciated the multiple air conditioners for a great night sleep. Will def have friends and family stay here and hopefully will return for longer ourselves!

Great Location

Can’t beat the central location. Clean apartment with plenty of space for four adults. Easy, fast communication with host. Had no temperature control with the wall units and one set of keys to the apartment didn’t work, but we overlooked as minor inconveniences.

Zum Schlafen ok, zum Aufenthalt ungeeignet

Nachts ist es angesichts der Touristen sehr laut, aber das war nicht überraschend. Enttäuschend war die Küchenausstattung. Kochen für 7 Personen ist quasi nicht möglich und auch ein gemeinsames Sitzen am Tisch geht mangels Platz und Stühlen nicht. Der Balkon geht zum (relativ dreckigen) Innenhof.

Property did not have exactly 3 separate bedrooms. There are 2 bedrooms with a couple of sofa beds. We also took cold showers for two days due to difficulty getting the manager to take care of the problem. You couldn’t ask for a better location and it was clean.

Nice stay

Overall the property was fine. The location and the communications with the management was excellent. Two bigger issues: 1) Checkin was at 14,00 - we were there but could not use the apartment until 15,30 as they were still cleaning; and (2) one of the showers was not working (5 people sharing one shower not what I planned). I contacted the management and asked for a credit but never heard back (which is funny because if you check in after 20,00 you have to pay extra yet when they delay your checkin, there is no penalty to them; as to the shower, they said it was Sunday so probably could not fix it ….however, not sure how the cleaning people did not discover the issue - all they had to do was turn it on to see how broken the shower head was. The location is great and the AC worked great. And as i said, communication with the management was excellent, especially during my planning. Overall it was fine.

I Loved our Amore VRBO in Sorrento

As described in the description. Perfect for our family of 5. Located in walking distance to everything. Situated above a great little Coffee shop Café Mimi. Best breakfast pastries and wonderful coffee. The apartment was very clean and spacious. The only annoying thing was the apartment door. Struggled every time. We started getting the hang of it after 2 days. Thumbs up!

Great location and great team

We had four adults in our party and the apartment was perfect for us. Plenty of room and a great location right in the middle of the pedestrian zone. What really made the difference was the team from Amore who were exceptionally helpful with advice and bookings.
