Let me just get to the key reasons why I would encourage people not to waste their money here. 1. Cockroaches and Waterbugs the size of my palm were throughout the inside of the property. 2. Told that we needed to leave for a couple of hours so the property could be fumigated (aka, the cleaning lady spraying a can of roach spray), only to arrive back with more bugs (this time medium and small roaches coming out of the drains in the shower). 3. I paid 150 on the app for a Private Chef and was told after the fact that the pricing was not accurate and never received the service or a refund after multiple requests. 4. 9 days after my trip and still no response regarding my request for compensation to some extent, due to the bug infestation. So, despite the beautiful grounds and pleasant staff, our trip was ruined because we were uncomfortable with the roaches.

There are two parts to my review. The first part is for the host and house manager. The host was very responsive and communicated clearly, he provided clear instructions on steps to ensure smooth entry into the country and connected me to the house manager. The house manager was also very responsive and answered all questions we had. She connected with a Taxi driver who was extremely nice and drove us to numerous destinations throughout the trip.The 2nd part of my review is on the apartment. I had very high expectations for this apartment but was greatly disappointed! There were spiders, cobwebs, cockroaches, and other insects crawling on the dining table! I had to purchase a repellent spray "Raid" to kill the unwanted guest! We all had to keep our bags zipped to prevent transporting roches back to our house. One of the bathrooms had a horrible smell so we only used 2 of the bathrooms. There also wasn't anything to do at the property besides the pool and beach. Overall, I will not recommend this apartment due to its cleanliness.

Casa Tim does it again but the beach???

Casa Time was great as always, however the beach which is very doable has a trash problem, this was never the case before. The property folks try to maintain the main beach but the beach to the left was filthy, there was even a body of a dead dog that washed up. Now this is not a Casa Tim issue and maybe the beach to the left does not belong to Hispaniola beach but something must be done to restore the beauty and experience

Hispaniola Beach - Sosua

We have a two week family vacation to Sosua staying in a superb Condo. The property was clean and comfortable, having everything we needed for our stay. Great location and superb complex with a large swimming pool and shady deck a beach fron access. Very good.

My Stay at Hispañola Beach

Excellent location, beautifully decorated, very clean and comfortable. There is a very nice and a private beach and was very accommodating for my group of 5 adults and 3 children. My rental contact was very courteous and helpful.

A great place to stay!

Very nice property-very clean and comfortable for our family of 5. We enjoyed the pool and the beach (once we figured out how to get down to it-the stairs have been washed out). The grounds are beautiful and well manicured. We liked the proximity to the town of Sosua. We were able to walk to restaurants and shops. The people are so friendly and Hispaniola Beach was the nicest place to stay (in my opinion). I would definitely stay here again. I would have given 5 stars, but the beach access was a bit disappointing.

Nice place but no beach

Seems there used to be a beach but it’s gone. Washed away I guess Nice place though but could use some nicer small touches. No salt and pepper, paper towels, or soap in bathrooms for example. Found beach towels in washer. But we still liked it and beaches about a km away.

Great location

We loved our stay at Hispaniola beach. The condo was centrally located in Sosua and very easy to get around. We expected our condo to be in front of the beach since it was described as beachfront, but that was not the case. The house also had pretty terrible wifi, it only worked in the living room and master bedroom. There was no wifi in the back of the house where the other 2 bedrooms were. When wifi was available, it was very slow and hindered us from being able to work since we were unable to check emails, download files, and make phone calls. We received an email from VacationDominican that said we could email them for ideas on tours and activities. We reached out a couple of times but did not receive a response. Other than that, the stay was great. The place was very secure and the staff was friendly.

Absolutely beautiful property, condo unit and beach!

I have nothing but good things to say. The property was beautiful and in a great location...Sosua public beach is minutes away but this property sits on a private beach. The condo is gorgeous and well maintained. Not one complaint! Thanks Jamia for being easy to work with and accessible. Would definitely visit this property again! Honeymooners 03/2017

Very nice condo!

I really enjoyed my stay at this condo. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Communication with Fatima was prompt and attentive. Maid service was very good. The grounds are great and security is always present and helpful. I would highly recommend this property to anyone. Thanks for a great vacation!

Amazing week in Sosua Hispañola Beach

Words can't express how incredible this place is! Feels as if you are in the comfort of your own home . Second time at this property and it won't be our last. We had a wonderful maid Joselyn that made coming 'home' so much sweeter after enjoying a day with family out on beach pool or town.
