“Good, clean property for 2. Could do up to 4 as there are two beds. Close to Bar Harbor and Acadia Nat'l Park. We ran into a major traffic jam going back to the property from Bar Harbor. It was people heading home at the end of a holiday weekend. Not the property's fault, just wanted to inform.”

“We drove up from Maryland to view the eclipse. Drove from the property up to Houlton on Tuesday morning for that purpose. Didn't get to hang around the property much because we were on the go constantly, but it was as advertised, comfortable, clean and easy access. The only real negative in my view is the close proximity to the main road.”

“The bath towels were of high quality but not white. It is a pet peeve of mine that when I use a common use towel I want them to be white so that they can have the ever-living daylights bleached out of them between guests. I did love that little gas fireplace. The furniture could have been arranged slightly different with two comfy chairs and a coffee table looking out over the harbor instead of the dining table which got almost no use from us due to the amount of really great food in walking...

“What a charming place!!! We rented 7 of their 12 Cottages and Motel Units and had a wonderful week! They provide everything you'd expect PLUS more like Wood/Lighters and Fire starters - or a propane gas firepit if you prefer. Plenty of outdoor space!! The motel units are JUST as spacious and charming as the stand alone cottages - each is well Appointed and remodeled so nicely! Comfy beds, luxurious bedding and well stocked kitchen - we cooked all week! Location is perfect just between Bar Harbor...

“Lighthouse Cabins were very clean and the owners are very friendly, professional and full of information for us. We were not sure what to do at this part of Acadia NP and we were helped. Lovely inside cabin, hot water all the time and free washer and drier. Would stay again. ”

“This is our second stay. When they say 1 step above camping that is misleading. By that I mean, if you have camped, this is 20 steps above camping. You have a stove, refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. It has a screened porch, a deck and right on the pond. There are lights and outlets to charge phones and there is service for phones!
