This is a perfect property for a get away to South Haven and other nearby beach towns. The property had everything we needed and more to creat an amazing vacation. From beach supplies, towels, games, bathroom amenities, and more. We loved access to the pools & hot tub, plus we were close to the beach. We highly recommend!!

Property was well equipped with towels, beach chairs/umbrellas, paper towels, etc. The cookware was quite old and may need to be replaced. The bedrooms were a little dark with just one light on the ceiling but worked for our family with young children. The doors were very squeaky and beds were uncomfortable. One bedroom had a futon like bed, not very comfortable for an extended stay. The location of the home is nice with a pool on the property. The beaches are close by but not walking distance with children.

The indoor pool rocks!

This is one of the best VRBO’s we have stayed in and the indoor pool is incredible. The family had a blast and the property was perfect.

Lovely home

The property was lovely, quiet and clean- must be fairly new to rental market still needed a couple things. Communication with rental group was very delayed or None existent. I had to directly contact host who called immediately. Met another renter at the pool who stated she’s stayed in neighborhood twice and both times communication was awful. We were never told about a fob needed to get into pool ( she waited 6 hours for a response and told me). We searched the house and finally found it.

Buyer beware

Was really looking forward to this vacation. Check-in process was a little difficult as the access code was not what I had requested. Took a bit to resolve. Upon arrival, there were a few minor things that were broken and I contacted their maintenance department. Came out right away, and fixed the issue. Was horrified to find that all the bed linens are NOT WASHED between bookings, and they tried to charge me extra money to clean them after our stay. Discovered that linens provided for a crib had previously been put away soiled… Excrement was visible, and I did show this to the maintenance man the first day of my vacay. When we checked out, they tried to charge me an extra fee for cleaning these things. There was also a ‘hidden’ fee for pets, which is not mentioned in the listing. I was happy to find the space well appointed… Lots of toilet paper and tissue and cleaning supplies and laundry soap. The garage is not large enough to put a car in and be able to open the door to get out. Accidentally left parts to a kayak in the garage, and their lost and found procedure does not exist. I believe the cleaning crew threw them out. While I found management took a very tough line on nickel and diming us, the manager I dealt with was kind and thoughtful, but tough. I had no recourse, as of course, he had my money. Again, I cannot fathom. I slept in soiled linens for a week.

Great Location & Clean Home

The home was located in a great location and was well maintained and clean. Well stocked with all necessary amenities. Some of the communication was a little odd, other than that no complaints. Would consider possibly staying again in the future.

Relaxing time in South Haven and Holland

Our family had a relaxing time in South Haven and Holland this week while staying at this sweet house. Everything about the house was nice and clean. Thank you for a tea pot! Plenty of kitchen supplies and place settings. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Lots of extra towels is always nice. We were only minutes from town to get groceries and from restaurants. We were also walking distance to the beach. However, we like Van Buren State Park best for their beach, especially if you ate bringing your dog. Since the local beaches do not allow dogs. We enjoyed the John Ball zoo during their Lantern Festival and the Veldheer Tulip Farm. We’d be happy to stay here again! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Killer wi-fi is true!

We've stayed in this development before, and LOVE the location! The property was clean and the hosts were very responsive. Really appreciated the family room set up with comfortable seating for a group! Beach chairs and umbrella were amazing! The beds are not great (which was a disappointment) and, personally, I would have loved to have ceiling fans in the bedrooms. Properties like this make vacationing easy! Thanks Dean & team!

Awesome home close to everything

The house was beautiful and very clean. It was exactly how the listing said it would be and we were very happy with it. The hosts were extremely quick to reply and answered all our questions in detail. We'd stay here again if we go back to South Haven!

Family vacation

The place was nice, not a great value for price in my opinion. There were some communication issues with damage hold we didn’t know about, but that was resolved. Beds were pretty uncomfortable, and we happened to be there on a pretty warm week, and there is not zoned cooling- the upstairs was super hot, and no ceiling fans. We have stayed a lot of south haven places, and probably wouldn’t choose this one again, but there wasn’t anything bad about it, just nothing really great about it to make me want to return.

Weekend Getaway

The property was exactly as described. Dean made everything so easy. Any questions, we had he responded almost immediately. Definitely will stay at one of his properties in the future. Downtown South Haven is about 1.5 miles away. Biking or walking is perfect! Kal-Haven trailhead is .3 miles away and the beaches are within a mile. The fall leaves were beautiful along with the sunsets. Definitely relaxing!

Nice stay in newer house

We had a nice family trip here. The house is newer, nicely equipped and clean. There is a community pool you can use. Not really walkable to downtown, but a very short drive. Owner was responsive and easy to work with. Kitchen had everything you could need. Would stay again.

We have stayed in the Woodland Harbor Marina for the last few years. This home was close to the trails and on the end which was nice to have a little extra space! The home was extremely clean. We enjoyed our week long stay!

Great location to explore Western Michigany

We loved everything about our stay. The home is a newer home with lots of amenities. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. The host was prompt in communication and answered all of our questions quickly. The wi-fi worked great. The house was conveniently located to lots of outdoor attractions along Lake Michigan. We really enjoyed our stay here and would love to stay here again.

Comfortable mid-winter break

Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids ages 4 and 6) really enjoyed this great property. All of the cookware and dishware available for making full meals if desired, kid friendly cups and dishes a huge plus. Lots of room for relaxing, and the board games and space for the kids to hang out in the bunk bed room was great. Very convenient location to downtown and lakefront/beaches. Communication with owner was easy and extremely prompt. Would definitely come back to this property in any season.
