“Property is beautiful, well maintained. It is also a wedding venue. We were there during the week just before wedding season started. Owner present and very friendly and helpful with all needs. We ere there for 2 breakfasts which were both good but would have been happier if they werent both syrup types. If one was egg based Like quiche it would have been nice. Place convenient to small town, quaint. Room was small but attached to porch which was delightful. Would definitely recommend.”

“The carpet and bathroom tile had been updated, but the entire place was somewhat run-down. For some reason the ceiling of our room was dark grey, contributing to the overall dark atmosphere. The mattress was old and lopsided, my wife weighs considerably less than I do, yet her side was much closer to the floor. “Host seemed annoyed that we reserved through Expedia. There were only two couples staying in the place and she stuck us both upstairs next to each other. We asked if another room was available but she said that because we reserved through Expedia she couldn’t switch our room. Didn’t make much sense. The place has a lot of character, but we wish the owner was more friendly/welcoming. Also, food was mediocre. It has been much better in past visits here.
