6/10
This review is geared more to parents with babies/ toddlers. Me, my partner and 1 year old stayed here in July. We had decent communication with the landlord when we had issues with the AC and internet. There was mention of a crib being available but it was not there. So co-sleeping on the floor worked for us using the twin mattresses. For one person the queen bed is comfortable but note - it too tall for a baby to co-sleep (risk of falling). The odd thing is that when we arrived the towels were folded but still moist - they hadn't dried all the way. Some of the sheets weren't clean- there was a strong perfume smell. There are no hooks in the bathroom to hang your towel or a bathmat. The hallway and kitchen floors were pretty dirty (think of a baby walking/crawling). Careful, there's a bump that we all tripped on in between the living room and hallway. There's a broom but I think a swiffer would help. If you are cooking - take note there are no oven mitts. There's a dish rack but no tray underneath to catch the water. Note - There are no hand towels in the kitchen. We brought our own papertowels and purchased some night lights (we left them there for the next person staying there). The place needs some side lamps (for those with light sensitivity - all the lighting is overhead). Also note flies come in and out because there is no screen - bring your fly swatter! The good thing is that the neighborhood is quiet and feels safe. Being so close to the beach is a plus!
