It was a great say and the house was beautiful! The kitchen had everything we needed. The walk to the beach was short and beach, well just excellent!

My birthday trip

The home waas super spacious and convent distance from the beach and stores! The owner and workers kept checking in and wasn’t hard to get in contact with ! Def will be back nd recommended I LOVED IT!!

We didn’t care for SPI. There wasn’t much to do, the restaurants were nothing special, feels as if the island is run down and not cared for. For our family vacation we wouldn’t recommend.

Overall it's a decent house. Pretty big just wish the mattress were better quality and more comfortable. Kitchen lacked can opener and a decent knife set. Home was clean at check in. The beach was a 3-4minute walk away that was very nice.

Great find!!

Spacious and elegant house. One thing to note is that the lower room is disconnected from rest of the house - you need to go outside and up the stairs to reach the main living room, not a big deal but if weather is bad it's an inconvenience.

Value for Money and recommended

Pros: Easy accessibility to beach, good neighborhood, ample parking place, cozy beds for large members, chill AC, plenty of front and backyard outdoor spaces, personal touches on walls, good for money, helpful property management by provided additional utensils on request, recommend for large family/friends. Cons: Must upgrade Dryer and Dishwasher to work properly, need floor mats on the kitchen/Indoor area & include additional utensils. Explain the 4th bedroom details/accessibility on the website clearly. [ 1 bedroom with bath,small dining in the lower level] Overall value for money, nice location and recommended for large group.

Bad, just bad!

The communication with Vacasa property management was very poor. The property is out dated. The drawers and cabinets are falling apart. There are cockroaches and were crawling inside the refrigerator. The washer and dryer are downstairs in the garage which is filthy. The appliances are filthy. If you are the owner of this prooerty, please know that it is being mishandled.

Perfect for family vacation

We had our entire family join us . This consists of 4 families . My sister with her daughter, my brother,his wife and there 3 children, my other brother,his wife,there 2 children,me ,my husband and my mother. Each family had their own space. It was really nice. One family was upstairs on the 3ed floor. One Family in the downstairs apartment on the first floor . And in the main part of the house on the 2nd floor was 2 bedrooms one for me and my husband and the other for my mom,sister and niece. So comfortable and spacious. There is no washer or dryer. But it's vacation so just pack enough for the week and you will be fine. The beach is definitely within walking distance about a 7 minute walk right down the street. Shops ,food,drinks & fun ALL within walking distance. We had a blast! I would recommend this property to friends & family

Cockroaches - Request Refund

When we checked in, we saw cockroaches in the dining area and later in the night we saw in the family hall and kitchen area.not only that, few other issues listed below,1. it is listed as for 17 guest, but it is not suitable, there is another room on the ground called guest room with 3 beds.2. The additional blankets were stinky, maybe due to the roaches3. there was no paper rolls, normally we have seen one extra in the bathroom, but none4. in one bathroom, the hot water and cold water knobs were interchanged, not the standard one can expect5. there was no large dining table to accommodate the # of guests it is listed for.Request to process a refund as we did not have a good experience.let me know if you need additional details, i can share pictures/videos of the cockroaches in the property.

Needs TLC and Repairs

The location was good…a short walk to the beach. BUT, there’s no washer or dryer and several things were broken. One item was a safety concern. First floor bathroom sink doesn’t work. The dishwasher had to be put together every day to use it. The “keurig” side of the coffee pot didn’t work and the electric skillet didn’t work. Many dishes taken from the cabinets had to be washed prior to using. The biggest issue was the glass shower door fell on my grandson. (It’s a miracle it didn’t break.) Vacasa’s response to our initial call was to compensate us a little over $60 for the missing washer/dryer. That wasn’t sufficient… This could be a great house if someone would fix/replace everything properly.

Absolutely perfect

Was in south padre for my daughters wedding. I had my brother, my Dad , 2 daughters , my son and some of my grandkids with me.. Short walk to the beach. Great place for my family!

Vacasa saved the day!

After AirBandB screwed my sister over calling two hours before check in to say we couldn’t have a house, I took control and called Vacasa and got a wonderful house to stay in that made our vacation the vacation perfect! Will always recommend them especially for South Padre Island!

Nice place to rent for a group of three families.

We had three families with five children renting this place. The place was nicely maintained, stocked with essentials, nice kitchen and bedrooms. The host was helpful and responsive. We had good time here and recommend it.

Awesome South Padre but our stay was...

We stayed for 2 nights (16pax). When we arrived, we can't get to where the lockbox was, as the gate towards it was closed, have to wait 10 minutes. only 1 garage works but we didn't use it. Trash bin was not empty when we arrived. Basement room has a portable aircon, setting was set to cool the room overnight but we ended not sleeping in the room at the second night as it does not work, too hot to stay there! Kitchen counter was not clean when we arrived, sticky. Lacks towels but could have been prevented. Lacks pillows too but they sent 6 pillows on the first night. They requested to wash towels but didn't provide detergent. Did not attempt to wash wet clothes as those machines are too old. Place was nice but they need to fix the basement room, update washer/dryer and kitchen stove.
