La casa está genial, está a media cuadra de la playa, la alberca es grande y el área de estar es muy cómoda y amplia. Además algo que agradecemos enormemente es tener el control de la temperatura, estaba helado! Y por las noches teníamos que subir un poco la temperatura; durante varias vacaciones en otras casas no nos permitían bajar la temperatura y hacía calor, aquí no fue el caso! Tiene todo lo que ocupábamos para nuestra estancia, electrodomésticos en la cocina, juguetes en el área de alberca, lavadora y secadora funcionan genial y en general tiene una decoración muy bonita. Tiene doble balcón con sillas para estar y las habitaciones tenían suficiente espacio para almacenar nuestro equipaje. Como dato, hay dos baños completos: en la habitación del primer piso no hay baño. Le resto media estrella porque el personal de limpieza no hizo bien las camas, estaban sucias y había cabellos entre las sabanas y en las almohadas. Además el agua de la alberca estaba muy caliente, no supimos como apagar el calentador. Por el resto estuvo genial, la recomendamos para unas vacaciones geniales.

We had to call housekeeping because of jelly or something dripping down drawers. Needed extra sheets and blankets which I had to call about 6 times. The pool was programed to NOT heat the spa or pool.False advertising if you ask me.Left a day early because of the lack of use of pool.Should get refund.

Pros: clean, well decorated, great location, quick responses. Cons: downstairs bedroom doesn’t have a bathroom, there’s one toilet not a shower outside but in the middle of the night who wants to go outside. They also got a little petty and wouldn’t give us one additional trash bag which I thought was silly for how much you pay which is why I took a star down. Also just to note it’s 3 stories which is a little difficult with littles.

The property was nice, but the management was not worth the rental. We had front door lock issues. As a result, we were locked out for several hours, had to enter through the bacon door the whole stay, and had to leave belongings unsecured. Other issues were the pool needed cleaning and the hot tub was not filled. There was no way to water hose or way to fill the hot tub. ICE maker and WiFi not working. I was on the phone with management for a good amount of my stay. The pool was cleaned but we never had anyone come out to fix the door.

Property was advertised as oceanfront both on VRBO and VACASA. See pictures. I spent every day of my trip arguing with both entities about this. I would never have booked this house if it were not oceanfront. In addition to the misrepresentation, the customer service by both the host company and VRBO were terrible. I was promised day after day a follow up call and never got it.I would’ve rated this house at three without the misrepresentation of oceanfront. There were many things broken in the house or that did not work.-Terrible mold stains in the bathroom showers-Absolutely no water pressure in the showers. I really struggled to get shampoo and conditioner out of my hair. I was told by the rental company this was a known issue.-No dishwasher and virtually no hot water in the kitchen sink. They did not provide any kind of dishwashing soap or dish cloths/sponges. I had to go out and buy these things to wash dishes. And never felt like the dishes were really clean since there was no hot water.-door handle on the sliding glass door on the second floor was broken making it extremely difficult to open and close the door.-Icemaker and water filter in the kitchen were not operable-downstairs TV did not work-we were only allowed one bath towel per person provided by the host. I contacted them and they said this was normal policy.-outdoor furniture cushions were saturated with mold Home could greatly benefit from an instruction manual like is found in most rentals.

When I booked this home in January of 2025 for an April vacation it was listed with hot tub and heated pool, pictures showed a beautiful outdoor space with pool and hot tub. Those pictures are very old and do not show what it actually looks like now. I called Vacasa on our 1st day in home with no heat in the pool and the pool dirty and cloudy and the hot tub was very cold. No instructions on how anything works in the home, Vacasa told me to locate the spa button and press it and it should start to heat up. They also stated the pool was just cleaned that morning? I really do not think that was true. We rechecked the hot tub 4 hours later still no heat. The next morning hot tub was half empty and still no heat. I called and or messaged Vacasa again. The pool was very dirty and cloudy with chlorine powder just sitting all over the pool floor with no pool filters running to help clean it. When I did receive a response back it was a refund for 117 for a non working hot tub. I again asked if they could please send a pool person to come and check on the pool. No response back from Vacasa. The grill outside was caked with burnt food and no grill brush to be found to clean it. Microwave does not work, ice maker does not work, the house over all dirty, slime on upstairs bathroom faucets.On our last day of vacation we were shocked and disgusted to have a huge RAT swimming in the pool.I called Vacasa reported everything again I requested half of my money back and I have had no responsed

The perfect place for a beach stay in South Padre!

My husband and I booked this trip with our two adult children and their significant others as well as our 2 year old granddaughter. The floor plan was perfect and having a king bed in each of the rooms was a bonus. Everything was very comfortable, clean, and the location is spectacular. It is a quick walk to the beach, stores, restaurants, etc. After a day at the beach, we really enjoyed cooking out and using the pool in the late afternoon and evening. The outdoor space is just beautiful! We were prepared with supplies after reading reviews such as paper plates, napkins, paper towels, TP, coffee filters, and spices to cook with. For the next guest, we left some of these things! The only things that could be improved is providing more than one key to access the place and adding a dishwasher. However, these were NOT deal breakers. There is a bathroom at the lower level on the side of the house to access which was so convenient when using the pool. We had a small leak in the kitchen sink and the management company was there within a couple hours to fix it. We highly recommend! Our daughter got engaged on this trip and having such a beautiful home to celebrate and enjoy the week made it extra special!!

Nice Stay

Home was fairly clean and nice. Enjoyed our stay, but did have a couple of issues. No downstairs bathroom for 1st floor bedroom was an issue, as only the two upstairs bedrooms had showers in them. Second floor half bath was convenient but no shower available. Pool was not clean, and had lots of dead insects and roaches in it. Water was stained and cloudy and mold was on side of pool. House was clean, this was a pool issue only. Beds slept well, but might want to bring your own pillow. Overall a nice stay.

Bring Your Own Broom

Beautiful property. Comfortable beds. Great pool area. If you are staying a few days and like to keep the floors clean you will need to bring your own broom. If you like to cook, you will need to bring all your spices. The house comes with Zero spices. The pool was a little dirty. The spiral staircase is very rusted and might cut your feet if you are barefoot.

Hot tub constantly empty

We arrived about 6 on Saturday…it rained on Sunday Monday we were in hot tub I. Afternoon by evening the water dropped and Tuesday mornin water was barely above seats and below jets…had to call every morning until Saturday to have hot tub filled…a pool person wax out every day.. we left on Saturday morning and that was the first morning since Tuesday that the hot tub was full and working… the day we left

Excellent Property with Amazing Property Management

We come every year to SPI with our family and best friends. This is a 10 year tradition. We never end up staying at the same place for various reasons so we’ve tried a lot of them. The property was exactly as listed and we enjoyed it immensely. I will say, the reviews pointed out a squeaky master bed for the last year. I assumed that would’ve been addressed by now so it was disappointing it was not. That was the biggest downside and not a deal breaker for us, although I do hope it gets fixed soon for future guests. We had a few minor hiccups, but all were addressed immediately by Celia and her staff. They were super helpful and polite and remedied them within a hour of our reaching out. And these were not a huge deal—just needed a few coffee mugs and some oven mitts. All in all we had a fantastic time and thoroughly enjoyed yet another great vaca trip to SPI. Rest assured if you stay at any property managed by Vacasa and Celia’s team, you will be in great hands!

Location and pool were great, even though the pool area wasn’t cleaned, garbage was full, trash left all over. 2 blocks from beach was awesome. The air conditioner worked great. But very few extras. No spices, 1 roll of t.p. Per bathroom, plenty of dish washer pods but no dishwasher. I give it a solid 4 out of 5.

Great Place

We really enjoyed our stay here. Note, there is no dishwasher. I know that was confusing everyone in the reviews I read. Also, I would note that this house has a lot of breakable decorations. My youngest was 7yrs old and I was nervous he'd break something (which he never did). I recommend bringing pans if you plan to cook a lot. The house only had two very small pans. We had no issues with the pool or hot tub. Also, keep in mind that this house uses a physical key for entry. Of all the VRBO houses I've rented, this is the only one to have a physical key. This is a problem if your family wants to split up and do different things. Every other VRBO home I've rented has a keypad on the door to lock it up which makes it easier for families to go in different directions.

Beautiful with a few flaws!

No air conditioning in the lower bedroom so it's impossible to sleep and the temp was only in the 70’s. No dishwasher, adequate cooking items are needed and no hot water in the kitchen for dishes. Would be helpful to have basic staples...salt and pepper, toilet paper, paper towel and beach towels to name a few.
