I checked in and the gentleman checking me in took 2 phone calls during the process, I then asked if my room included breakfast as he made an outgoing call. My question wasn’t answered and I was just handed my room key.
I then asked again if I had breakfast and also in addition to this what my room number was and also in which direction I should go to get in to the room.
After playing a round of golf I went back to my room and the key didn’t work, once I got to reception I found out that they shad changed my lock after I checked in and I should have been told.
When we went to go for dinner, I then found that the bar / restaurant menu was closed and it was a buffet service only due to coach trips that they had and it would be £35!
Next day, room key did not work, same man on the desk and he once again took 2 phone calls as he was dealing with this issue to just hand a new card over.
I’m not one to complain but I was furious and mentioned it on checkout only to find out that the man who checked me in is a manager.
Absolutely shocking and I have emailed separately.
