“Some things we liked: the TV is huge, couch and upstairs bed are comfy, the private dock, felt like a safe location, responsiveness of the host, board games provided Some things we didn’t like: none of the fire alarms were installed (they were all sitting on top of the cupboards in a pile), the breaker to the fridge, washer, and back room tripped more times than I can count on my fingers and toes for a 4-night stay, wet towels left in the washer, comforter in the small room smelled like urine,...

“The use of recycled wood on the interior makes this place gorgeous on the inside. The location can’t be beat. I can’t give this a high rating because this is not for most Sr citizens or people that are physically challenged. You have to climb up a ladder to go to bed. This was not clear in the photos of the property. My wife ended up on a couch. Had they been more transparent about the layout, I probably would’ve stayed elsewhere.”

“Small, clean room with a comfortable bed. Great location in the heart of Jim Thorpe. The problem for us was that there is just one parking space which was occupied and parking in Jim Thorpe is quite difficult to find, especially for overnight parking. If the space is available, you are all set. If not, good luck finding a place to park where you wont get a ticket.”
