Communication with the Host before, during, and after was excellent. Very beautiful and spacious home, very clean. Views of the water and sunrise over the water are amazing (and so were the moonrises over the water). Heated pool was invaluable. Our two dogs had a great time in it and running up and down the hillside in the backyard. Plenty of amenities. Grocery stores not far. Had a wonderful time and can't wait to return.

Beautiful Home and Perfect for Big Family

Our large family of adults and two one-year-olds and a dog had a perfect week. The hosts were kind and responsive, and the home was spacious with lots of room for privacy and being all together. Looking forward to going again!

Beautiful

Beautiful property, beds and linens were cozy, house was gorgeous inside and out. A huge amount of stairs though so be warned! Kitchen is on the bottom floor so I think I walked 75 flights of stairs for the weekend so just be aware! Otherwise it’s a great place to stay on the water!

Beautiful Place on the Bay

Beautiful views and a lush backyard. Jacob was excellent with communication. The house was clean and had all amenities needed for a wonderful stay. Please note there are a lot of stairs in the house as well as get to the dock. It was a good workout for us!

Wonderful home

This home was perfect for our 12-person family. There was plenty of room to spread out, and the house was well stocked with everything we needed. It would be a great place to vacation in the summer as well. The owner was helpful, communicated well, and accommodating. We hope we can return sometime in the future.

Family stayed for my 50th birthday over a long weekend. Amazing property. Beautiful view and amazing amenities with hosts who are flexible. We had a small issue with the alarm system that we finally resolved. Will definitely book again.

Amazing stay!

Jacob’s home was perfect for our wedding weekend. It had plenty of space for all of our family members. There was more than enough space throughout the house and outside for all of us to relax and enjoy time in. The view of the water is amazing! Hope to come back another time, thank you!

Great Vacation Spot

We had a great 10 person family vacation. The house was spacious and clean. The view of the Chesapeake amazing. The pool was very big and deep in comparison to most vacation rentals. They had a paddle board, several kayaks and life jackets in all sizes. The only things I would be aware of is the amount of steps. The house has 4 levels and 3 flights of steps. The driveway has a flight of steps. To get to the pool many steps and steep hill to maneuver. We didn’t mind it because it was good exercise. We toured the Naval Academy about 40 minutes away. Also, had lunch at the Pirates Cove about 20 minutes away. The food, drinks and service were fantastic.

Yearly family beach trip

We run from Ages 1 month to 70 years old and had a great stay at this lovely property! Lots of spaces for my whole family and big warm areas for us to all gather! We spent the majority of the time in the kayaks on the bay and in the pool; we needed nothing else- thank you Jacob!

Week on the bay

We stayed the last week of July into beginning of August. The property is fabulous, laid out in a very unique way to provide private space for numerous family groups. We had 8 adults, 1 teen, 3 elementary kids and 2 toddlers. Be prepared to climb steps, inside and outside. However, the height of the house is what provided excellent views of the bay and boat traffic. All 5 bedrooms have a bay view. The house is adequately stocked; could use a few more specifics in kitchen. The pool was large with significant decking and seating. The dock to the bay was kind of high and the only way into the bay was via 5 steps on a ladder from dock to water. That made it difficult to get paddle boards and kayaks in and out of water up over the dock. The base of the bay was all sand/ dirt and shallow for walking around, getting on and off paddle boards. It was no more than waist high on an adult quite a ways out from shore. There were very few fish in shallow, some jellyfish that varied. The wildlife was special; mom and 2 fawns walked around the yard every morning, watched osprey dive for fish, lots of butterflies, skinks and blue crabs. We enjoyed our stay!

Perfect Family Getaway

Perfect getaway for a 3 generational vacation! Spacious bedrooms, on different levels. allowed for quiet times to take in a book or dance parties when the grands would pop in! Conveniently located for day trips to Annapolis and the National Harbor. The pool, hot tub and dock were most appreciated amenities. The large dining area allowed all 14 of us to share a table for family meals. Nicely secluded with wildlife but grocery stores, small beach areas and nice restaurants were only a10-20 minute drive.
