  • This new fully air-conditioned, one bed room, one bath on the island of Spanish Wells, Bahamas features an open living area and full kitchen, along with fenced in patio/decks with barbecue grill. King size bed. Living Room area also features one full size futon/couche. Starlink internet, Cable TV in bedroom and livingroom. This vacation home includes Golf cart, Kayak, paddle board to ensure each day is a new adventure. It's a 2 min walk to Spanish Wells famous two mile white sandy beach. Only a few minutes walk away from everything in town.
    Spanish Wells is a small unique Island located off the Northern tip of Eleuthera. Silver Airways and United from Fort Lauderdale, American Eagle from Miami and Delta from Atlanta Georgia are non stop flights to North Eleuthera (ELH). Lobster fishing is the main industry on the island. The best way ot get around the island is by golf cart there is no need for a car. Fishing is great here bone fishing and deep sea fishing. Local fishermen offer many different excursions such as swimming with the pigs, you can visit Preacher's Cave. Queens Bath, Hatchet Bay Cave, Ocean Hole and the famous Glass Windows Bridge (we recommend that you book these in advance). Hidden Gem in Spanish Wells, Bahamas is your ideal island vacation spot.

The apartment was very clean and well maintained. The owners were excellent host and arranged all of our transfers. They even gave us a tour of Spanish Wells upon our arrival. Very close to the beach and provided a golf cart with the stay. We had a wonderful time while there.

This is our second time staying in this property. We love the location, walking distance to Budda's and 50 yards to the best part of the beach. AC works great beds are comfortable and since our last visit they added a convertible pit group so property now has a King bed and two couches that convert to double beds. Front and back porches were nice options if you wanted to get sun or avoid it. We will definitely be staying at this property again.

Awesome stay

Sharon was super helpful and always answered the phone and was wonderful setting up taxis for us to and from Eleuthera to the airport and such. Definitely would stay again.

We had an amazing stay!! This is our 2nd trip to the island and renting from Sharon and Will! Looking forward to coming back again and will definitely rent again from the Albury’s!!!

Spanish Wells Hidden Gem

Our stay at Hidden Gem was wonderful. The beach is close and easy to get to. We have stayed in a lot of homes but this one was wonderful due to the host! Sharon greeted us at the dock and drove us around the island and showed us local spots. It made venturing out with the golf cart very easy! I would highly recommend one of her properties to stay at. You just do not find that type of interaction and kindness very often! We will be back hopefully soon! Thank you Sharon!!!!

A week in Paradise

Was PERFECT for us. Sharon and Will are exceptional hosts. Sharon made everything so easy, from arranging a.Taxi from the airport, to the Ferry, and picked us up at the Ferry. She gave a tour, and showed the rental to us. The Hidden Gem is very comfortable, and clean, and accomadates a couple very nicely. A gollf cart for transportation comes with the rental and it was so much fun to explore, and go everywhere arond Spanish Wells, and Russell Island. They also provide Kayaks, and Beach Towels, Beach Chairs, and " Floaties" to enjoy that Beautiful Ocean! I HIGHLY Recommend Sharon and Will'S, Hidden Gem!

A week in paradise

All about our stay was perfect. Sharon is a wonderful host, picked us up at the dock and took us for a tour of the island, explaining everything we need to know. The property is very nice and clean with everything you need to stay like at home. House is walking distance to the paradise beach of Spanish Wells. Really looking forward to come back

Quick little stay

Host was fantastic & very communicative. Place was cute and cozy, close to the beach. Perfect for our short stay. The host stopped by and showed us her other rentals which we will keep in mind for our next visit down. Thanks for the hospitality! Chris, Kristy & kids

Nice cozy place

This was a quick weekend getaway and Sharon’s place was the perfect spot for me and the husband. Although we did not cook, the kitchen was fully stocked. Place was very clean and comfortable. Sharon was also very accommodating in that she arranged the taxi and ferry service and picked us up at the dock. Would recommend staying here. She also has other places to rent on the same property.

We had a great last minute trip which Sharon was very helpful with. She initiated the taxi driver David from the airport and greeted us at the ferry dock taking us for a quick ride through the island so we knew where everything was. This cute cottage is very ideally located with nice beach decor and the perfect layout. You can walk next door for alcohol and down the street for an amazing beach, everything else we used the included golf cart. Kayaks and paddle boards are included but we didn’t get a chance to use them because we rented a boat every day through Harbourside. The only reason for the 4 star cleanliness is due to the slight scent of mold which my fiancé is sensitive to however this place is great and we absolutely recommend.

Birthday Vacation

I had a wonderful stay at Hidden Gem. It was perfect for me - great location to everything. Comes with the buggy which is a bonus. I was able to walk to the beach and spent my days there. Sharon picked me up at the dock and showed me around the rental. She’s so sweet and kind! I will definitely stay with her again, though my April dates are taken. Gotta book early!

Very relaxing vacation

Cute little cottage just 2 minutes from a gorgeous beach! They have kayaks but we couldn’t use them because it was too windy. The house is very comfortable and well equipped. Sharon, the owner, was very responsive and very helpful. The golf cart was a big plus for exploring the island. It was a very relaxing vacation! Love Spanish Wells and Hidden Gem!

Relaxing beach trip

The property was perfect for the two of us, great AC, comfortable king bed, the wifi was good we even brought our roku. The best part of the beach (still plenty of sand at high tide),was only steps away, cut through the cemetery then past one house. The outdoor shower before you came back inside was key. We have been to Spanish wells before but this was our first time being so close to town, it was nice being able to walk to Budda's and short buggy trip to restaurants. The host was extremely helpful, picked us up and dropped off at ferry, when our golf cart broke down one day they had another one dropped off in under an hour. We will definitely stay at this property again.

convenient to everything

Close to the beach, grocery store and every else with the included golf car. Used the bikes (and ferry) to bike to Ben Beach bay, Sapphire Hole and Preachers Cave on Eleuthera. Beautiful day trip! Just so people know ahead of time, the small island cemetery is right next door and walking through it is the shortest way to the beach. I enjoyed reading the headstones and have always enjoyed visiting cemeteries so I was fine. There may be others who have a problem with it, so just be aware. The beach isn't busy. I would find more starfish than people. It was very relaxing to walk through the water at low tide on the powdery sand. Used the kayaks to go around the island (go high tide) and out to the small islands off shore. Didn't find any areas to go snorkeling off shore. I hear you have to go out to the reef. Fun trip!

Perfect stay for our Family of 4.

We recently stayed at a wonderful property in Spanish Wells, booked through VRBO, and our experience was outstanding. The property was spotlessly clean and its location was extremely convenient. Just a 2-minute walk away, we found ourselves on a beautiful soft pink sand beach with shallow waters stretching as far as the eye could see, resembling a huge swimming pool. Additionally, a liquor store was just a stone’s throw away and a small market within a 3-5 minute walk. The use of the half-cart ‘buggy’ was a plus for getting around and shopping at the Food Fair supermarket, which, notably, closes most days at 5 p.m. There was also a pharmacy, very handy in case you forget your medications (I recommend seeing George Russell). Sharon, our host, was wonderful and very helpful in arranging taxis and the ferry to the island. Among the must-do activities, I recommend renting a boat at Harbourside Rentals or taking a guided tour with Sharon’s nephew, among many other available options. Also, a visit to Papa Scoops for excellent ice cream (open from 7 to 10 p.m.) is a must, as is going to Buddhas for good food, drinks, and background country music. For a delightful meal, Wreckers. The Sand Bar, and Shipyard are excellent choices. The beach is perfect for relaxing or snorkeling. It was a fantastic place for our family of 4. We love Spanish Wells and its people. We’re eager to have the opportunity to return.

Perfect hosts...perfect spot

What a great choice if you are coming to Spanish Wells for a peaceful vacation. Our hosts were the best bar none. Sharon and Will were friendly and helpful would move heaven and earth to make sure your stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They make all the arrangements to get you safely from airport to cottage and back again...who shows that much personal interest?! THEY DO, Felt like family by the time I left.The included golf cart was the biggest perk ever as were the kayaks and paddle boards. We were zipping all around and back and forth between the tiny two islands (Spanish & Russell Isle.) The centrally located adorable comfy immaculate, roomy, bug free cottage style home was exactly as pictured and filled with everything you might need, their home is a quick three minutes away if you have a need. Its 160 steps by my stride to the white sand beach (yes I counted lol) if you’re looking for wild, not the place for you, although Buddha’s a short walk away has Karaoke on Friday.🤣You will have to MAKE your own wild 😂It’s a wonderfully quiet peaceful place. No hotels/high rises. You can walk the entire place any time night and day in safety. The stars at night from the front deck are beyond incredible, felt like I could reach up and touch them. Like any island groceries are big $$$. I pack my check in with non perishables pasta, spices etc and just buy the essentials when I arrive. Good to know- the large grocer runs out of food pretty quickly but they restock late Thursday early Friday. Restaurants $$$. We cooked our meals in the cottage. The beach is perfect for small children, the crystal clear water and massive beautiful sand bar goes out for a half mile at low tide for kids to find treasures starfish sand dollars 😊we loved loved taking golf cart to the bridge to swim in the crystal clear canal. It’s the public park but we usually had it to our selves. The sunsets from the gazebo there were spectacular. We will surely be back next year god willing. Very convenient to beach,Food Fair ,restaurants

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at Hidden Gem.The apartment was clean with all new appliances.We enjoyed the quiet,the outdoor shower,the easy walkable distance to what we wanted to do,even Papa Scoops! The owner gave us a ride to the dock on our way home since we had many bags to carry from Food Fair. We'll be back!
