  • Vol Hollow is a beautiful A-Frame Lake Front Property with 3 bedrooms 1 and 1/2 baths . With a 2 tier deck there is plenty of room for the whole family inside and out. Private dock . Flat Hollow Marina is located 1.2 miles away. Close to ATV/ UTV trails for all the hunters and riders. Beautiful Open Lake View , Norris Lake . Pontoon boat rental available ( $325 per day and $ 500 deposit ) See y’all there!!

The best 40th birthday

We stayed 3 nights 4 days in this amazing gem. We had a great time on the lake for 2 days with their boat rental. We were close to the marina and the area was so peacful. We WILL be back again.

Great time

This was mine and my husband's third stay. We always have a great time. The property is close to the marina, it's super convenient to great food and drinks. The cabin is cozy, has great decks to sit out on and relax, and super comfy recliners in the living room. Can't wait to come back!

Beautiful view in a quiet neighborhood!

We were so glad to grab this gem for a holiday getaway. Coffee on the balcony deck and the most beautiful view of the lake, kept us happy and relaxed. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was very well stocked. We took the amazing opportunity to rent the boat for two glorious days on the water. Thanks for a lovely rental!

Nice spot on Norris Lake!

Perfect location on Norris with lovely view and steps down to the lake. House was very nice and had everything you needed. Host was very responsive with any questions. Loved that there was a pontoon available to rent. We had a great stay!

Very helpful

The cabin was exactly as listed, with comfortable bedrooms and a very nice boat. We loved having access to the boat whenever we wanted, and Carmen was always available and extremely helpful!

Family getaway

We enjoyed staying here for a little getaway for a couple days after getting married. It was so peaceful. We enjoyed swimming off the dock, playing games and even rented kayaks at nearby marina and went out on the lake! Carmen was great at getting back quickly with any questions I had!

It was a quick visit (and we had one great weather day and the rest overcast and/or rainy), but were very comfortable at the house. It was impeccably clean and we had a great time out on the water - we used the pontoon, what a huge convenience, and well-maintained. Carmen was very responsive and we had no problems. We forgot our roku stick so were a little limited in what we could watch, but that's on us, and we managed fine. The wifi worked great and there were tons of games for us to play! Thanks for the fun!

Great cabin on the lake- fabulous view!

Wonderful location on the lake- perfect for lounging in the lake and close to marina . We swam off the dock daily and took our kayak out daily to explore the many coves. We rented the pontoon from Carmen and Tim for one day and had an amazing day exploring some of Norris Lake. Cabin was extremely clean and owners thought of everything! Would love to rent this place again!

Perfect Getaway

This is a cute little house near Flat Hollow Marina. The house was perfect for our family of 4. Carmen was great to work with and quick to respond to any questions I had. We enjoyed hanging out on the dock, swimming and relaxing. Renting the boat through Carmen was a breeze and very convenient.

Perfect for our family trip

This house was perfect for our family. Hosts were very responsive when we had questions. Dock is nicer than the picture, and even though they keep their pontoon in a slip, there is still a spot for another boat. We just launched at Flat Hollow and they have overnight trailer storage.

We had a wonderful trip with our 3 sons! The location is great. We visited Flat Hollow for lunch (their dill pickle flatbread is yummy) and got plenty of ice cream! We also used the pontoon and went to Sugar Hollow and did the new obstacle course with the boys! So fun! We did the jumping bridge, and found two different jumping rocks and a rope swing (grab a map from flat hollow to find all the locations easily on the lake!) Carmen was so sweet and answered any questions we had. She was a great host and let us check in early, which was so appreciated. We are grateful for the memories made with our boys and hope to return again to make many more!

Awesome Lake Front Property

The property is an older A-frame home. There are 3 levels. Kitchen has been completely remodeled. It is on the lake, has a private dock and a very nice pontoon boat that can be rented.

Perfect week

House was super clean and as advertised. Kitchen was well stocked, beds were really comfortable. We rented the owners boat as well which was a very nice pontoon boat - it was nicer than I expected it to be and I would recommend doing that if you don’t have your own. The area was quiet and we loved having our own dock. Someone below mentions it needed replacing - but I think that has been done because it was also very nice. They had tons of games. It was really a great rental!!

Can’t wait to come back!!

We rented this adorable home from Thursday-Sunday. It was a fabulous experience. The owner was very attentive and helpful. The house was vey clean and had all the amenities plus more that we needed. The steps are not for the faint of heart. There are 84 of them from the dock to the back door but this is very typical for the lake houses on Norris. So be prepared!! We rented the Pontoon boat on Saturday had an absolutely awesome time. The boat is very nice and easy to maneuver and drive. Definitely gave us the boat itch and lake life itch! The lake is gorgeous and we found some really nice areas to swim and even rock jump. Even my teens had a great time. Thank you Carmen for letting us be your first guests! Can’t wait to come back!

A-Frame near flat hollow marina

We spent 6 days 5 nights over a long Memorial Day weekend. 3 couples. The house was clean and very comfortable. We brought a boat and was able to launch it at Flat Hollow, Marina, and store the boat trailer at the marina as well. It was nice having the dock right in front of the house. We had to split up so that when we brought the boat over, we knew which house to go to. One of our friends stood on the dock while another friend drove the boat over. We cooked all our meals at the house and used a brand new grill that was provided. There was an ice machine in the pantry that came in handy. We brought all our own food including paper towels, cutlery, and paper plates. The kitchen was fairly well stocked with pots and pans. I recommend bringing extra toilet paper, paper towels, etc. if you’re going to be there more than a couple days. Because this is an A-frame, the steps up to the master bedroom and downstairs were pretty steep. There is no live TV, but there is Wi-Fi so bring your own personal streaming stick to watch movies. They had plenty of games to choose from for game night. There is no place to have a campfire. There was a washer and dryer available as well in the half bathroom downstairs.

Quick family trip

The property was great for our family of 6 and it was quite enjoyable. We will definitely come back. We have stayed at numerous properties on Norris. This one located on the main Flat Hollow channel was not within the no-wake area. It was power boat weekend and thus it was quite unsafe to swim at the dock due to wake and rough waters affecting the dock. The road to get to the property is narrow, but navigable. There is also no dishwasher (but my 3 teens were great substitutes). The lower and upper level stairs were notably low ceilings. This would not be a great location for anyone over 6 foot without good mobility.
