“Location is stunning and the walks along the cliffs were breathtaking. Breakfast buffet was plentiful but the hot food was not very good. Have had better at a Premier Inn. The morning we checked out something nauseating that smelled like poo had been sprayed or dumped nearby and it assaulted our noses upon exiting the building. “We loved our stay, the room was a perfect size for a family of four, comfortable beds and very clean. The pool was great for our children and the breakfast was a combination of are to order and buffet. The food was delicious and there were children options which was brilliant. A special mention goes to the outstanding dinner we had at their restaurant, the Marigold. The food was exceptional, both for the adults and the children meals were loved by both our daughters. “We had a lovely stay at Kingfisher cottage. The grounds of Maesgwynne Mansions (on which this small courtyard of cottages is situated) are lovely; this time of year flowering rhododendrons are a highlight, and a walk around took us past the fishing lake and neighbouring fields with various farm animals. There are fabulous views, and the outdoor swimming pool had a cover enabling us to use it even in early May. very peaceful & highly recommended.”
