Great long weekend trip

This trip was a fantastic long weekend with a bunch of friends. The house offered space for everyone to spread out and do whatever games/activities appealed to them. If you’re looking for a house that lets everyone have their space, this was great! Also any questions or concerns we had were answered and handled so quickly. Overall I recommend a stay here!

Beautiful Lake property!!

We had an amazing vacation at this beautiful lakeside property! The house was stunning, with breathtaking views of the lake from both inside and the balconies. We spent most of our time enjoying the pool and relaxing by the water. The barbecue setup was perfect for outdoor meals, and we had a great time around the campfire by the lake in the evenings. It was the perfect mix of comfort, scenery, and fun. The barn attached with the house had 3 bedroom out of the total listed which has low ceiling and had separate units for AC/Heat, apart from this everything else was spot on.Highly recommend the house for a peaceful and memorable getaway!

Friends Board Game Getaway

A group of us rented this property for a weekend of relaxing on the lake, playing board games, and catching up. The property worked well for us but there were a number of minor issues (closet door out of tracks, grill not working, an no sheets for one of the beds). I tried reaching out to the number provided for cleaning and linens but no one answered nor returned any of my calls so I ended up having to buy my own sheets for the weekend and adjust our grilling plans to cook inside. On our way out this morning, we also noticed that the septic was so full the overflow valve was leaking sewage. It's a nice place but it needs a bit more active maintenance.

Very Roomy

When I tell you that you will not be disappointed.My family and I had a time like no other.They have 2 refrigerators in the house, even still have 3 maybe 4 bags of ice. The Compound is huge and cozy. We love the house. I would rent this house again NO QUESTION!!.

Vista Pointe Estate was beautiful and the view was awesome. There were only a few minor inconveniences but overall our group of 20 loved this house! The kitchen was well stocked, there was plenty of room to congregate or spread out and the house was fairly clean. Some of our group hinted they'd love to come back!

Amazing Experience

This lake front home has it all! The brand new house accommodated our large group of both kids and adults and offered a diverse set of activities including a pool, hot tub, fire pit, porch conversations, lawn games, and lake front fishing. The host was very responsive and was committed to making our stay the best it could be. We will definitely be coming back

Beautiful house for our family gathering

Our day got married in Mineral, VA and we booked this house for family to stay at for the weekend. This house was perfect for our needs. Everyone had a comfortable bed to sleep on and the indoor and outdoor spaces were perfect for gathering! We enjoyed the pool, the hot tub, the pool table, the outdoor TV and the views. The kitchen is big and beautiful. We were able to host the wedding rehearsal dinner and the caterers had plenty of room to set up. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with my family!

Family gathering on the lake

What a fabulous 4 day retreat my family of 17 ( ages 1 - 94), had at this lake front estate with panoramic views. The property is beautifully decorated with entertainment for all ages--board games and a pool table. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating for all! We tremendously enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub which we could enjoy even if the weather was not optimal. We also appreciated the standup paddle boards that were provided. We plan to return again! As the temps dropped, we were still able to swim and enjoy a wind down each evening.

Family vacation

The overall stay was nice. Just a few things we noticed while we stayed. When we arrived we had some difficulty with figuring out where the key to the front door was. The management company took a bit to get back to us. We noticed when we got to the house that there were cobwebs all over the outside of the house along with some cigarette butts in the landscape which we threw away. The pool was dirty ~ super cloudy and had green algae growing on the spillover. We messaged the management which had someone come out a few hours later. We had to stay out of the pool for 3 hours after. Still after they cleaned I don’t think the pool is working right. The cloudiness never went away. You might want to have your pool pump checked. 2 of the closets didn’t have a rod for hanging any clothes. You might want to check the ice machines in the refrigerators. They didn’t seem to be working. With such a big home having an ice machine maybe in the breezeway would be nice to keep up with the amount of people that this sleeps. The last thing. You might want to add that the bunk room in the cottage ~ the mattress aren’t meant for adults. Children would be fine but you might want to add that detail just in case in the description. Overall the house is so pretty and the decor is perfect along with the location.

Beautiful just built lakefront family compound!

Thank you for an amazing extended family get together on beautiful Lake Anna! The home is brand new and huge! The kids stayed plenty busy with many areas to explore on the large flat lot. Thank you to the Hosts who were very responsive and obviously had taken care of any prior cottage concerns as it was perfect for our group. We will be back!

A great place for a large group!

Our group of friends with young kids stayed here for a long weekend. The house is beautiful and spacious, allowing us to all gather together comfortably. The property has a great view of the lake, a pool, hot tub, and fire pit. The place was well stocked and the beds are comfortable! Checking in and out was made easy by effective communication, and the property managers promptly addressed one issue that arose during our stay.

$16,000+ for shocking disappointment

80 yr old Father paid 16K for family trip week before stomach cancer surgery. Here what he paid for: Pictures for everything. Checked in 1hr late - appliances damaged in cottage, foul odor in cottage and septic, black mold and mouse droppings in the cottage The whole house filter was unrecognizable - covered in clay, Septic field smelled like it needed to be pumped Lawn was not mowed, Weeds everywhere - gravel parking pad, flower beds, gravel walking path, fire pit. Hot tub with sludge ring and debris, Pool was hazy and the bottom was disgusting and a couple kids cut their feet on pieces of glass. Pool pump area was full of debris, trash and weeds. Water in the main house would cut off - see filter comment. Multiple closet doors off track and laying against walls in cottage. Worker show up on Day 2 to dig French drain. Learned that the cottage had recently and previously flooded - see black mold / foul smell comment. Relaxing sound of construction. Workers dig through the cable line. Multiple cigarette butts - No smoking property??? Empty propane tank. Old rusted grill sitting behind house. Spiderwebs and dust all over the covered veranda. Outdoor tv missing on cottage porch. Loose bricks stepping onto cottage porch Headaches, body aches, congestion, rashes if you stayed in cottage. I truly hope no one else has this experience. Property manager was called and texted every day. She did respond but only resolved fixing closet doors and supplied missing towels. $16K!

Great home

The homes was absolutely beautiful and as described. I would note that the dock situation was not the best if you are planning to bring more than one boat. It's also on a very busy part of the lake right before a no wake zone. The noise and boating traffic did settle down during the week but the weekends are crazy. The parking is tight if you have multiple cars and boat trailers. We did leave our trailers at a local marina where we also launched our boats. Overall, if you are renting this home, you will enjoy the pool and porch areas which are fabulous. Kitchen was well stocked and almost everything was brand new.
