Perfect location! The home was beautiful and the perfect size for our family. Check in was horrible after driving 14 hours with 5 kids and we were given the wrong code, it took 30 minutes to reach the owner of the home who was able to get us in using a seperate key since the property manager did not respond to calls or messages. After finally getting in and trying to unpack we found one of the pull out couches would not open but dealing with unpacking 5 kids plus trying to make dinner I failed to contact the property manager to let her know and she blamed me for their broken sofa. We had a great time and I hate to leave a bad review but I like to be honest, don't let this deter you from renting just make sure to buy the insurance to protect yourself and check to make sure if anything is broken you report it immediately.

Loved the location. Being able to get right out on the river and the provided kayaks was awesome! The house was spotless, the beds were very comfortable. Great communication with the owner.

We had an issue in the beginning with getting into the house because I wasn’t getting communication from the property mgr regarding the code. The original code I received was on Tuesday but didn’t see anything after that, so when used that one & it didn’t work, I freaked out but we had the problem resolved immediately upon calling. Apparently, I wasn’t getting any further messages about the code change. Just a glitch but we got through it. Everything imaginable was available for use onsite. We brought a lot of things we didn’t need to. The upstairs was the best. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

We traveled to Spring Hill with a group of eight friends, and the house had plenty of room for everyone. We loved sitting in the backyard and watching the river. Manatees passed by on several occasions. The kayaks were perfect! There were enough for everyone and it was easy to get them on and off the storage racks. This house is probably best for people that can use the stairs. There is a kitchen, living room, bedroom, and bathroom downstairs, but the main dining area and nicer kitchen is upstairs. There is also a lovely balcony upstairs that we enjoyed.

Bear Trail is a gorgeous property as well as perfectly located on the river. Our host Sonia was quick to respond to any questions that we had which made our stay even better. We really enjoyed the many kayaks and even rented a small boat to ride the river. We enjoyed staying here and will be booking another stay here soon. Thanks again Sonia!

Fantastic for the whole family

It was perfect. As we swam in the water we listened to multiple people comment on how awesome the house was. The music and the big unicorn helped…. Manatees swam by every evening.

Manatee House

This house is amazingly beautiful inside and out! You can see everything so good from the outside 2nd fl deck. Saw a ton of Manatee and dolphins! Just beathetaking! Water was so clear and beautiful. And They have TONS of kayaks! Definitely recommend!! we are already looking into when we can rent this place again !!! Thanks Sonia!!

Beautiful Home with Crystal Clear Water

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful property on the Weeki Wachee River! The water was absolutely crystal clear—perfect for kayaking, paddleboarding, and just relaxing by the river. The house itself was spotless and very comfortable, with everything we needed for a stress-free getaway. quick get away

This property was perfect for a friends get away! The multi level living spaces was great for when some wanted quiet time. The outdoor area was spectacular ! So many seating options. Not that it was a negative, but the only thing missing was a hammock for the nice cool mornings. Host was great with communication also. Will definitely will book again.

Nasty floors, disgusting sheets. Filthy.

We loved the location. The house itself, aside from the interior stairs, was good. Good, HOT water. Just filthy! We took the sheets off the beds - hair and little black spots. Bought new sheets, pillows and cover at Target - unplanned new sheet sets for home. Absolutely no contact from the "property manager".
