Such a charming little get away, I have been vacationing in Weeki Wachee for 4th of July for the last 5 years . This well attended and perfectly remodeled 3/2 on the river met all my families needs! Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us, and helping me create such amazing memories

Amazeing stay

We enjoyed our stay a beautiful place very clean had all the comforts of home enjoyed the kayaks games outdoor movies with special lighting. Bed where awesome slept very well we had a great time with many parks restaurants and shopping near plus several beaches we had a wonderful stay thank you

Awesome place!

This place was amazing! The perfect location. A short paddle away from the Weeki Wachee river. Tucked away in the canal where it was peaceful and quiet. Plenty of things to do. We spent most of our time kayaking, canoeing and paddle boarding. We saw Manatees everyday. We brought grown kids and teenage kids with us and they all had a blast. Plenty of outdoor stuff to do and the hot tub while watching a movie on the projector outside was a favorite. The house had everything you needed. I love the little things like the bed frames having chargers attached. Even the nightstands had chargers. Ceiling fans and stand up fans in the bedrooms. Fishing poles were provided. Very nicely decorated. Check in and check out was easy. I debated between this house and one on the river itself and I’m glad we went with this one. The river was busy and kind of loud. I felt like the tucked away on the canal was a better fit for us. It was a great week visiting the beautiful springs!

Great time!

We had a fantastic three-day stay at Wikiwachee Springs! The experience was unforgettable, especially with the clear-bottom kayaks that allowed us to see the stunning underwater life. We spotted a manatee right by the dock and were thrilled to see more manatees while paddling up the spring.One of the highlights was enjoying the mermaid show on a rainy morning, which turned out to be a delightful way to spend the rainey morning. After that, we were lucky to have two full days of sunshine, perfect for exploring and enjoying the outdoor activities. The fire pit was a wonderful touch, and we loved having a TV projector for music videos in the evenings. Lots of yard games to play with too :)Our host was incredibly responsive and attentive to our needs, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The spacious rooms were immaculate, and the kitchen was well-equipped for all our cooking needs. We grilled delicious shish kebabs and steaks, adding to the overall experience.We would definitely return for another stay!

Perfect Getaway!

This house, on a deep water canal was perfect for my husband, 3 kids, and myself. We spent 3 nights here and loved all of the amenities including stocked kitchen, gas grill, kayaks, and outdoor games! During our stay we had a mother manatee and her baby come right up to the dock! I would recommend this property for families with children of all ages. It is conveniently located next to Weeki Wachee Springs State Park and close to grocery stores and restaurants. Communication with the owner was great. We will definitely stay here again!

Fun and games

The house was well equipped and nicely decorated. The owner had so many other things to keep us entertained other than kayaking and swimming. Family members had fun playing darts, spikeball. We loved kayaking. Thanks for a fun family vacation.

This house has everything!

Thank you for a wonderful stay! The house was clean, equipped with everything you need and close to restaurants and grocery stores. You wouldn’t want to paddle to the top from here but you are close to Roger’s dark and can definitely see many manatees and amazing water!! We rented a small pontoon One day to take my parents up the river. There is tons to do for kids in the yard and we all loved the kayaks. Only thing is you cannot swim off the dock, which Mary had told us. I mean, you can but it’s at the end of a canal so it gets pretty stagnant. Thank you for a great stay!!!

Mary and John's house was WONDERFUL

Wow, just back from a week at Mary and John's house, and I can't say enough about what a fantastic week we had. From the start, communication with Mary was A+. Upon arriving, we felt like we were at a friend's house, because it's warm and welcoming, and perfectly arranged for our family of 2 adults and 4 teenagers. Plenty of space, fresh and modern and clean, we loved it the moment we walked through the door. After dropping our bags, we ran right out to the backyard and jumped into the many kayaks and the paddleboard. And that was just the start of a beautiful holiday week filled with manatees, long paddles to Bayside pier, and to the state park, backyard campfires, fishing from the house and the kayaks, hot tubbing, 'reindeer' games of washer toss and darts, grilling, coffee on the front and back porches, and so much more! We were delighted to watch a manatee eating grass alongside the house pier one day, loved hearing owls at night from our cozy bed, and never got tired of watching (and catching) the snook, mullet and red fish all throughout the canals and river. The kids even came across wild orange trees growing which was a fun surprise. We loved being just minutes from hospital hole and all the activity of the river, but could retreat to the home's quite canal to recharge. The neighbors were all so kind to us, and generous, even gifted us lures and a fishing light. We highly recommend their home, and Mary, you know we will DEFINITELY be back. Thank you!

Perfect Stayca Get-Away :-)

Usually, you see pics of a rental, and the place looks fabulous...until you get there and see it 'in the flesh' and find out that it doesn't live up to the pics. Well, not this Weeki Wachee River Tranquil Riverside Escape !! It is very tastefully decorated with just the right touches; and has just enough games and also equipment for water adventuring. The owners are very responsive and helpful; they obviously paid great attention to detail with everything provided. Each family member was in need of some peaceful R&R - to shift, if only for a few days, from the stresses of life; everyone left refreshed and ready for what lays ahead. Thank You Mary & John for your commitment to excellence!!

We went for as a couple trip and had an awesome time! It was close to the spot to see manatees, great outside amenities. We loved the outside projector and hot tub! Property is just as described would stay here again! I got engaged at this house, it will always hold a special place in my heart

Weekend trip

We stayed for a short weekend to visit with family who live in Florida. House itself has tons of amenities. No need to leave the property if you enjoy being outdoors. 4 stars for cleanliness. Home could use a good deep cleaning ( baseboards dirty, hair in shower, stove top had crud on it etc) . Overall nice stay and property , just would recommend a good deep clean

Manatees!

This is a great house, lots of fun things to enjoy. We didn’t even have a chance to use them all. The kayaks and paddle board were key to have, the river and canals are so much fun to explore. And you will likely get to see manatees. We enjoyed the hot tub, the outdoor movie projector and and coffee on the dock each morning. The beds are really comfortable! I recommend you book this property!

Beautiful stay

Mary is a very attentive host and addressed any concerns or questions very promptly and we had a great communication line. The home was very clean and quaint with the comforts of home. The outdoor area with the hot tub and fire pit was lovely. We enjoyed the use of the clear canoes, paddle board and kayaks. The attraction is the main river in Weeki but we intentionally stayed on a canal for a friend who has health concerns so he could still kayak without the strain of the tide on the main river, and this was perfect. Being off the main river also helped me practice my craft of paddle boarding without the tide or crowd. However, the main river is a quick paddle away or you could walk to Roger’s Park and the upper deck after a short 10-15 min walk. This is a walk we made leisurely each day to visit friends on the main river. This was the best of both worlds. Home was peaceful and cozy. Would recommend and stay again.

Wonderful retreat

Great Home

The Manatee home was perfectly equipped for my family of 4! Plenty of space, beautiful decor and updates, comfortable beds! We very much enjoyed the clear canoes, paddle board, and thankful there was a full stock of life jackets!

Great place!

Our host was super accommodating, and very easy to get in touch with. Everything we possibly could’ve needed for the river was there, kayaks, paddle board, paddles, life jackets, etc. There were lots of other fun activities that we’re ready to go- my kids especially loved the hot tub in the movie screen projector so they could watch a movie from the hot tub. A very short paddle ride through the canals to the main river. My youngest really enjoyed the mural of the Manatee on the front as well..

Weeki wachee

Very pleased with everything!!! The house is in the perfect location if you are looking to experience everything the area has to offer....super close to all the hot spots! The house was perfect but our favorite part was the backyard.... everything you need for you and your family to have a great time!!! We had a blast on the kayaks and relaxing in the hot tub and by the fire pit!! We will hopefully be returning next year!! Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful house!
