Wedding Time

We needed a place to stay for a mountain wedding. Everyone had a comfy place to sleep and it was very inviting. We enjoyed the quietness.

My work crews like to feel at home when working on the road. They told me the house was much nicer than a motel, the vegetables from the garden appreciated, and hope to stay here the next time we work in this area.

Perfect home for a family, clean and Perfect location for our trip. Enjoyed the property, nice porches and beautiful home and large beautiful yard! We were able to enjoy coffee on the porch in the morning and spending time with our family without a worry in the world!

Perfection!

I rented this home because 6 of us (3 generations) had tickets for the Potomac Eagle Scenic Railroad. It was the perfect place to be close to our activity but also be able to enjoy the firepit and making memories around the dining room table!

Peaceful and Quiet to stay and Unwind

Very clean and inviting . Kitchen was well equipped and the appliances worked well so food preparation was easy. The beds were very comfortable. We came home feeling refreshed.

WV Family Getaway

Nice and quiet/restful. Nice swing on back porch. Host/hostess hospitality 👍 (welcoming basket of their produce was a nice touch). Clean & comfortable accommodations. Would rent again.

Cozy and inviting home

This house is very homey and welcoming. We enjoyed a ride on the Potomac Eagle Railway and the location of the home was perfect, just a short drive away. The house was spacious and very homey. We especially enjoyed the fresh produce from the garden left by the owners.

The house was perfect. Very clean .Off the main road. It was nice waking up and seeing all kinds of wildlife strolling though the yard. I will definitely rent again when i go back.

Great history and story!

We had a great time at this property. It was very clean. There is picture above the fireplace that had us intrigued. They told us the great history of the property and the amazing story. We felt very special to have stayed at this property and be part of this families history! Thanks for the produce and for being great hosts!

The quiet and space we needed

This was a beautiful old farmhouse, just as shown in the listing. The front porch and the back porch were glorious for morning coffees and enjoying the beautiful trees. The owner was very responsive and everything was nicely put together. My only very minor negative comment was that one has to drive a little ways to find some longer hiking trails. Wonderful stay!!

The owner was accessable and accommodating to our needs. I recommend that the information be updated in the manual. We were able to clarify some issues that varied from the advertised fearures. Great place. Appreciate the facilities and other fearures.

Great stay at a cozy home!

home was clean and comfortable. Communication was great with owner and he was very attentive to our needs when we had a water issue. Everything was corrected and he followed up the next day to make sure we were good. Overall, this house is perfect and made us feel at home.
