“Probably the best location, right in front of the main entrance to the beach, and from the balcony we get a full view of Mirissa beach. We were on the 3rd floor.”

“This hotel has breakfast included (verry good) it is walking distance to the most beautiful beach I've seen so far no river to cross nothing. The train station Bentota is 50 metres away next to Coco's restaurant for fresh fish and cold beer ! Staying a few days here is a must !”

“Wonderful setting. We stayed in 'Pepper Cottage' and felt like we were in the jungle - but in a safe way. Best massages we had in Sri Lanka. Also the best breakfast - it was just so beautifully prepared. Location is set back off a main road - which you cannot hear - but this meant it was easy to walk to nearby restaurants.”

“This is a lovely historic house presented with style and charm, and high standards. The staff provide the best service and are very attentive. Setting is just gorgeous with visiting shy groups of purple-faced leaf monkeys and peacocks passing through along the high walls and trees from time as you sit in the cool palm filled courtyards. And added, an excellent menu with both traditional and modern mix so well presented and tasty served in a lovely restaurant-bar setting on the deep verandahs. ”
