Céntrico en St. Albans.
El hotel fue el adecuado para lo que pretendíamos....acudir al mismo para ir a dormir. Las otras actividades, desayuno, comida y cena, las realizamos fuera del hotel.

This Hotel is clean, and appropriate. It is in a good location.. Next to restaurants and shopping. It is not modern but it has a good look inside. The staff is very helpful and kind. Spot: the room was in the first floor infront of a small street no vehicles ,with a low fence.. It made me feel a little insecure.

Buen hotel. Muy confortable y limpio. Buena atención y personal amable Pedimos una cama supletoria y no nos la cobraron. Muy cerca de la catedral y a pocos metros de la torre del reloj. Tiene una parada del autobús en la puerta del Hotel

This hotel is very nice. The front part is Historical and is beautiful. The rooms are newly remodeled and very clean. It is within walking distance to many this and food establishments. This is such a cute little town, with a lot of History. It is a bit hilly, so your legs get a little workout. The staff was very accommodating and friendly.

A good central hotel, walkable to loads of shops and restaurants. Good breakfast and nice bar area. We had a std. room which was quite small and had a view of a brick wall but fine for 1 night.

My only comment is, that as they are still under a little bit of renovation, they have a few little details to iron out. ie; my room's landline was not working, so I have no way to contact front desk , aside from going person. The safe in my room was not working and needed to be replaced. Overall, they just have few details to iron out, so as to be considered a higher end boutique hotel.

Nice staff, cosy bar, very comfortable wide single beds in twin room. Aircon is very noisy and clicky and the shower did not work properly, as a button was missing. Could be very noisy from the parking lot too, but it was quiet season. For the price it is OK for one night.

Lovely small hotel, clearly recently refurbished, in an excellent location for the centre of St Albans, parking on site or a short walk away. Great rooms and an excellent breakfast.

Great staff and location
Excellent location with free parking. All staff are exceptional especially reception and the lady at breakfast. Would highly recommend.

Overall good stay
Overall good stay. We did have an issue with people fighting in the corridor at 1am which, whilst not the hotels fault, did put a bit of a damper on the stay due to broken sleep. Rooms were clean, but ours did show some signs of aging. Biggest fault was the bathroom fan which was on constantly, the constant hum was very annoying and kept my wife awake. To finish on a high, the breakfast was super and well worth purchasing and all the staff were great!!

Not soundproof at all, hotel not interested.
Rooms not soundproofed as we noticed at 2am in the morning when the inconsiderate idiot next door decided to play music at top volume. No one was around to answer the phone call to reception and when eventually someone came he wasn’t firm at all and it took a full blown row from me before the clown turned the music down.

Stay was good, room very nice apart from some of the fixtures and fittings falling off walls. Toilet Roll Holder and bed side light fitting almost loose. Looks like either insufficient length screws/pooe rawplugs used or no plywood patresses in walls behind plasterboard.

Booked this for my gran who is in her late 70s and she had a great experience. Very accessible room, friendly staff, good breakfast (she raved about this every morning), great location too. Big shout out to Lorraine who works in the restaurant (my gran really loved chatting to her each morning) she was very helpful and kind, thank you!

Enjoyable stay
We had a great stay, the only negative points were that the room safe didn’t work and the toilet flush continued to flow after the cistern was full.

Lovely staff, easy check in. The suburb of St Albans is wonderful. Would recommend it to anyone thinking about the area. We stayed to go and see Harry Potter and we were so happy withe the area and hotel.

We liked the position (near the cathedral) and the availability of a disabled parking space. Not impressed by the choice of food available, apart from breakfast. Definitely did not like the noise from people walking around in the room above - presumably this noisiness is partly due to the fact that the rooms are not fully carpeted. As we are old and go to bed early, we would prefer somewhere quieter.
