Luxury Cottage in the heart of St Andrews.

  • Welcome to No. 8 Southfield. No.8 is an extremely comfortable stone-built cottage dating from the 1890s located in a peaceful private development within 5 minutes walk of St Andrews town centre and 15 minutes walk from the Old Course. Fully modernised, furnished and equipped to a premium standard, the house comprises 2 bedrooms, lounge, dining room, kitchen and back garden. The dining room serves as a 3rd bedroom with 2 single beds. No. 8 is a perfect location for families or groups visiting St Andrews for any reason.

    About No.8

    No. 8 is furnished and equipped to a luxury standard with everything you could need for an exceptional, relaxing stay as you explore St. Andrews and the beautiful surrounding areas. The patio style back garden includes table and chairs and a small BBQ allowing outside eating. WiFi, TV, music system, washing machine. tumble dryer, dishwasher, microwave, nespresso machine and filter coffee set are all included. The property also comes with a private car parking space allowing hassle free access to the heart of St. Andrews.

    No. 8 was new to the short term rental market in late 2019. I look forward to welcoming you to the cosy cottage, if you have any questions please just ask.

Absolutely great stay here. Plenty of room for 6 of us. Great location, less than 10 minutes walk to town center. Nice dining room and lounge. Would definitely recommend.

Our stay was perfect. The upfront communication with Kath was excellent- prompt and efficient. The cottage itself was centrally located. My wife and I had a morning walk to the East Sands and walked to South Street for dinner in a few minutes. The cottage was spacious, clean and very comfortable with all the amenities provided even the pantry was well-stocked. I would highly recommend the cottage to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in St Andrew’s.

This is a really nice property. Walking distance to all shops and golf course. My family walked to the beach and enjoyed the scenery there. The place is clean and tons of space for the 6 of us. Internet connectivity is fast. The hosts are helpful on giving tips and information at a timely fashion so it’s a lot of help. Thank you Rose and Kathy

Lovely 2 night stay with family for mothers weekend close to all amenities beautiful house with comfortable beds, house has everything you need for family stay, toiletries supplied are lovely plenty to do and games provided in house was lot's of fun, you will not be disappointed with this beautiful cottage with own parking space which is a big bonus to this lovely house with own garden

The pictures don’t do this house justice! We had a wonderful stay and really appreciated the space and the walkability to restaurants and sight seeing. Having a designated parking space and laundry facilities was really helpful as well.

This is a lovely cottage in an excellent location in Saint Andrews - it is very clean, spacious, and comfortable. Communication with the host was easy, and the host sent us a helpful booklet with information about the house and the town before our visit. The cottage has a beautiful terrace accessible from both the kitchen and the dining room. The kitchen is very well stocked and includes both a washing machine and a dryer. Highly recommend! A
