Aléjese de todo en este ático frente al océano. ¡Las vistas de 180 grados son espectaculares desde las áreas comunes con una pared llena de puertas de vidrio! Tome su café de la mañana y siéntese en la amplia terraza para ver salir el colorido sol sobre el horizonte. We loved this property! Being on the beach and having easy access was great. The beach was semi private and not crowded at all! It was a great trip. We were the only ones that got into the pool during our trip.

Wonderful vacation

Everything about this was perfect. The view from the back deck was beautiful and provided quick access to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment and the outside closet had a great variety of beach toys. We saw sea turtles, shrimp, crabs, fish, and dolphins. We will definitely stay again!

Our stay was very relaxing. The Veranda was our favorite. The beach was quiet and the kids loved it along with the pool. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds were comfortable. Plenty of towels and the large walk-in shower was nice. Guest had left some nice beach items like chairs and beach toys, which was helpful. We loved having direct access to the beach, you cannot beat that. We did have some difficulty with the stairs especially upon arrival trying to carry our suitcases, groceries etc... but we knew that already based on previous reviews. The place is in need of a deep clean and updating. It was nice having a reserved carport and we were glad to stay in a gated area. Personally I would stick with no more than 4 guest as the steps to the "sleeping nook" safety is questionable.

Perfect beach vacation!Incredible view from the penthouse! Beautiful pristine semi-private beach. We had a wonderful time and it was so nice that we could bring our dog. The condo was nice and clean and stocked with everything you could need for a perfect beach vacation. We will definitely be back!

Best beach in Florida - but a couple of concerns

Matanzas is the most unique beach in this part of Florida and a wonderfully secluded location for a getaway. We love the location, the view, the direct access to the beach, the quiet of neighborhood and the layout of the condo. But please beware of a couple of major drawbacks. First, the third sleeping area is completely ridiculous. It is a mechanical closet with two beds crammed in- no ventilation or fan, and not tall enough for an adult to stand up in. No closet or stand for a suitcase, no electrical outlet. And no actual stairs to get into the space which makes it incredibly dangerous. It was not at all described accurately online. This is appropriate only for kids but even then totally not to code. In addition the third floor is not accessible at all for anyone with mobility issues. Both interior and exterior stairs are steep and numerous - not pictured in the listing or described - it was difficult to manage for two of our guests. Finally, bring supplies - there was very little paper products, soap or detergents for 5 people staying 5 days.

Perfect location. Breathtaking views

Stayed here a couple weeks ago. We are a family of 5, traveling with our French Bulldog. Everything was great and clean. My 13yo son enjoyed the "3rd" bedroom and loved that he had ocean views from his bed. This location is perfect for St Augustine an. d Flagler Beach.

The View

This is a perfect beach vacation. Sitting on the top floor deck, you can see the sweeping views up and down the beach. Not only do you get access to a private beach, the oceanfront changes daily to give you new areas to explore. It is in close proximity to excellent restaurants and other sightseeing events like the lighthouse, alligator zoo, and fun mini golf. The condo is stocked with all the essentials with a family of six.

Oceanview Deck

The location can't be beat. The oceanview deck is absolutely fantastic, and worthy of ten stars. The giant chocolate lab in unit 6 below us barked for 2 1/2 days straight and that was a significant distraction. Otherwise, the good far outweighed the bad.

Amazing views

We really enjoyed our stay. The unit was clean. It’s older but well maintained. The kitchen is well equipped. The views are wonderful! The beds were comfy with lots of pillows. The master bedroom shower was very spacious. You do have to climb a lot of stairs to get there, but the ocean view is worth it.

Great location

The property is older and needs a bit of updating, but the location makes up for that issue. The website shows extra beds which were actually in a closet complete with duct work. Two adults slept there which was very challenging. Overall, it’s acceptable for the purposes we had.

Beautiful location

The best sunrise view! Lots of room and seating. I was especially impressed with how well stocked the kitchen is. Close to town and grocery store. I will say be ready for stairs, but it's worth it ! We had a great vacation here!

Location, location, location!!

So, we had a bit of snag with our check in process as we asked for early check in, which was originally confirmed and then we were told we could not check in as early as we wanted and early check in was not guaranteed. This was a little annoying as we had confirmed the early check in the day before we left. That is the reason for the 3 stars. Otherwise, the keycode system couldn't have been easier. The only other gripe is the bed mattress in the master was a bit worn out and lumpy. That said, the early check in and the bed were minor blips on the radar once you take everything into account. We had an amazing time and the place is as advertised. Yes, lots of stairs, but we absolutely loved being able to walk right down the stairs onto the beach, and they were only really a pain when bringing suitcases up on the first day. Other than that, not an issue at all... assuming you don't have any elderly folks in your group who can't do stairs...but the view you get from climbing those stairs can't be beat, and the deck is so inviting since you have a roof overhead. Finally, location, location, location... this place is in the coolest, private, chill spot, and not far from restaurants, Publix or even downtown St. Augustine. If you are looking for crowds, go to St. Augustine, but if you are looking for a peaceful getaway where the kids and the dog have the beach mostly to themselves, then come here, you won't regret it!
