"Room description not accurate at all!! We booked a room with what we thought was a balcony but it did not have a balcony. It was a raised porch on front of building with no seats other than a wooden bench not suitable for sitting to enjoy the outside. There was a picnic table over near the steps. This was a shared porch. The breakfast was nothing more than limited grab’s go. Not even edible the muffin case had stink bugs laying around the outside. This made it unappealing to want to eat anything from breakfast bar. I think the marketing department needs a to make some adjustments to descriptions. "

"Our long weekend getaway in March started with half a foot of snow and ended with spring temperatures. We found everything we needed, including shovels to deal with the snow. We enjoyed the CD collection and loved gazing at the stars from the deck in the dark. Everyone had settled on a favorite coffee mug from the eclectic collection by the end of our stay. Our dog enjoyed the local squirrels and deer, but she was not keen on the spiral stairs. The upstairs bedrooms had high ceilings with fans and bathroom shower heads placed high enough for taller guests. The only conversation we needed with the responsive host was accommodating and cordial. The driveway was an opportunity to flex our WV driving skills and our necessary all-wheel drive. This cozy cabin was a wonderful outpost to explore so many fantastic things that the area had to offer. "

"The house is adorable and has everything you need! The babbling river was so nice too! The beds were comfortable too. The technology in the house was also cool! Just a tip to hopefully save someone the trouble we had- it was very snowy when we were there and along one side of the driveway there are large rocks. The rock closest to the road was disguised by dirty snow and we backed into it and damaged our mud flap. Just wanted to make other renters aware."

"Beautiful setting and location. Well constructed log cabin. Spa a plus. Sheets and comforters very soft. Clean cabin. Well insulated. TV is huge and archaic/old. Dominated the room but only supplied basic service and not adaptable. The only room with no heat was the bathroom which was really the only room that would have benefited from having heat. Heater there but no control knob. Electric outlets would not hold iPhone chargers- very loose connections. Not clear on switches for the myriad of odd lights. Great space, needs some interior help. "
