    Welcome to Abiding Place!

    This conveniently located BEACHFRONT property has all of the modern conveniences you will find at home including but not limited to multiple TVs, DVD players, WIFI, stereo, a well-equipped kitchen with granite countertops and all basic appliances (brand new range and dishwasher in December 2020), tile floors throughout, large covered beachfront porches, an outdoor shower and park-style charcoal grill. Fresh interior paint December 2021.

    The Gulf front Master bedroom with King sized bed has a private bathroom with jetted tub and beachfront deck. The guest bedroom with Queen bed and private bathroom is just down the hall from the Master and a second Queen bed can be found in the loft bedroom overlooking the living area. Additional sleeping accommodations include TWO Queen size sleeper sofas (newly replaced sleeper sofa in December 2020).

    Abiding Place is located within the 'Gulf Beaches' area of St. George Island. This area extends 2 mile East and 2 miles West of the center of the Island. Local businesses, which include rental and gift shops, restaurants, pubs and more, are all located in the center of the Island. Our home is just a short stroll to these locations and the historic St. George Light, Lighthouse Keeper's Museum and Lighthouse Park.

    This home is a non-smoking and dog friendly environment (we allow up to 2 dogs only, under 45lbs with advance approval and for an additional fee of $150 + tax.) Beach towels available!

    Our home requires a Sunday turn day in Spring Break and Summer seasons; for all other seasons please inquire.

This home was fabulous. Love the location and the view. Love having baby gates provided to keep a dog or child on the porch. Love the layout with great beach view from the Master bedroom. Can't say enough about this home... was a perfect rental!

Anniversary trip

My wife and I stayed for a week for our Anniversary trip. The home was clean and well stocked with everything we needed to get started, and for cooking when we stayed in. We loved the beach front location and can’t wait to return.

Awesome Place!

We had a great time at Abiding Place. The location is perfect for riding bikes and golf carting to all the local restaurants and shops. The view from the living area was breathtaking! Can't wait to visit SGI again!

Short but sweet

We’ve stayed at this property before and loved it. Unfortunately we only got to stay two nights due to hurricane Helene, but the property was clean and we enjoyed the time we got to spend there. Hope to return soon.

Great view. Lot’s of outside seating options. Management was very responsive. This was the most well equipped kitchen I’ve had in a vacation stay.

Wonderful Spring Break

The house was cheerful and clean. Loved the location. There was a small park just a short walk away. Everything you need is within walking distance. Loved our stay! Planning to come back next year!

Just what the doctor ordered!

We made last minute reservations for a quick family getaway after my mother-n-law's funeral, and our escape to Abiding Place was wonderfully healing! It was such a bright, happy beach house and the location was perfect! We are planning on making it yearly trip! Thank you!!!

Location location location

This is the perfect place with being steps away from the beach and a great view. Also it is a 5 minute walk to Sparks and Son Grocery store (highly recommend and nice folks). Also I would recommend Paddy’s Raw Bar which is also 10 minute walk. Everything is walking distance that you need at your stay. The townhome has plenty of room and very clean.

Absolutely LOVED our time in St George

The rental was one of a few dozen adorable "pencil houses". The 3 levels of deck facing the ocean were an absolute treat! We loved that the rental was pet friendly and that the owners included a gate inside as well as a gate on the deck to help corral the pups. Our kids loved the beach gear that had been left by previous families. The location was fantastic and we truly enjoyed this beautiful island. Would absolutely recommend this location!
