The house was great- just as pictured online and clean and well cared for. We enjoyed the views of the water and sunset. The beach is beautiful. We did have a problem with the door entry, but Jamie responded immediately and gave us a key as backup. She was super helpful and friendly

Relaxing and wonderful stay on St George Island

Super nice and well appointed vacation home did not disappoint. Our 5 days in paradise on St George was one of THE most enjoyable vacations ever and we plan to return. Thank you!

Perfect location!

Great location! Easy walk back and forth to the beach. Amazing view from the upper deck! Beds were very comfortable!

Beautiful home and perfect layout for 7 to 8 people. The pool was maintained while we were there and was immaculate. The front door latch does not always work when the code is typed in. That might need to be checked out before future rentals.

We loved the house! It was great for the two grandparents to have the bedrooms downstairs with no stairs to climb. Our grandchildren loved the pool. Enjoyed the quick access to the ocean and loved the ocean view from the house, too. My only suggestion would be to provide an extra set of bath towels for each room and maybe add a mirror to the other bedroom downstairs. It was clean and well-stocked in the kitchen. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home.

Paradise on Earth

Our house was very nice and had everything that we could have needed. It was clean and decorated tastefully. We could walk a minute to the beach or relax in our private pool. Highly recommended!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a last minute thing and we found this place and glad we did. It was very clean, maintained and stocked well. Everything was in great condition including beds, appliances, pool and TV’s. The location was great with the beach across the street and not to far from restaurants on a golf cart. Headed back there next summer.

The pool gave our kiddos entertainment during dinner or when the weather didn’t permit us going to the beach. The beach access was just a short walk. The kitchen had everything we needed for meals. Annual Beach Vacation

Overall the house and location are great! Any snafus we had are expected for HOT Florida summers and were handled super quick by rental team …. Only heads up I will add are …. if you have a big crew (we had six) there aren’t adequate cooking items - cooking sheets, casserole dishes, grill utensils - one large pot for pasta yes but otherwise eek needs a skillet! If you like to cook bring your favorite vessels! Beds are all pretty comfy bathrooms are ok … there isn’t anywhere where to store toiletries in the bottom floor baths though upstairs is a different story (too bad it wasn't the master) Living space was tough for a group with a single couch but weather permitting outside spaces were great. Pool and cabana were fantastic! Would absolutely stay again knowing what we know and how to prepare for our wants and needs. Easy to the beach - even more so than a few of the beach front homes we have stayed in!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Last minute plans to return to St. George Island the week before school started. We were able to bring our 94 and 88 year old parents who enjoy the beach visits. The home that Forgotten Shores found was PERFECT for this visit. Pet friendly so we were able to bring our dog who loves swimming in the gulf. Ground level, no stairs to enter the home and 2 of the three bedrooms on the ground floor. Short walk to the beach. Great views from the home. The pool was visited daily by our parents letting them do their water aerobics.

It was a little small for what we want for next year. I did not like that the table was wobbly and one of the chairs had a bad leg that would easily cause a fall if the person did not watch the leg when they sat down. The water pressure upstairs was very low in the shower and toilets had to be flushed several times to accomplish the task of a complete fecal flush. I have never had to wash dry and put up dishes. We just put them in the dishwasher and turn it on. Not a big deal just time consuming on the morning to leave waiting on the dishwasher to finish.It would be nice if there were at lest two bath towels per person. Women often need on for hair and one for their body.It would also be nice if there were instructions on which switch works what in the house for lights and fans. It could be posted on the wall in a pretty frame, what is stations are available on the tvs.It was great that we were able to bring our pets, I think they enjoyed the beach and house.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our family’s 14th year/ trip visiting the island! We love SGI! We have stayed in 9 different homes. The house was very clean. It was the smallest one we have stayed in to date. With that being said don’t pack a lot. We do in the spring because you could have 3 of the 4 seasons in one day. No closet space! Kitchen had no trash bags but everything else was ok. We paid for a heated pool which according to my kids was a waste because it was cold. I called but they only gave me two days refund because they couldn’t determine when the breaker was tripped. This is the first time we have had any issues with any of the homes on the island but I would think you want a return visit you would put the guest first knowing it wasn’t the guests fault. Overall the house was decent and close to the beach!

For her to not have to worry about stairs was a huge bonus! The kitchen is well equipped. The pool with the pool house was used almost every day. We watched the sunrise every morning. The boardwalk to the beach is literally across the road. We loved that the house had an allotment for beach rental equipment. I rented a kayak and got to kayak with the dolphins on several occasions. This house is currently for sale. We are keeping our fingers crossed that it sells to someone who is going to leave it as a rental. If so, we will be able to rent again next year!

Being older, we loved that we could stay on the main floor so no stairs to take our dogs out, go for walks, and the porch was so relaxing to sun watch the gulf and people watch. Just a few steps to the boardwalk to the beach and the dogs go to romp in the sand. We will totally be back.

The only complaint I have is there isn't a door on the upstairs restroom. The shower and toilet area has a door not the sink vanity area. Since the upstairs is a double occupancy room it would be beneficial to have a door.
