We had a small group but this house would be great for families with a lot of kids as there were plenty of bunk rooms. We spent a lot of time in the family room enjoying the ocean view. It was also great having a heated pool since the ocean was cold in late November.

Our stay at the family beachfront oasis was absolutely perfect. The house was much better than I anticipated and was stocked with anything and everything we could have needed. The walk from our private pool to the waterline of the golf was approximately 100 steps everything in the house is very well maintained, all of the master suites and guest suites mattresses were very comfortable and clean. There was more than enough towels, linen and basic household supplies. Then we needed provided. Several trash cans located on the property to easily dispose of excessive trash from a large group of people.Each conversation I had with Jake he was extremely responsive and quick to reply. The pool area was very nice. The boardwalk to the beach was well maintained the kitchen and family areas in the home are well laid out for large families and the bedrooms offer privacy for each group to have their own quiet time. A large screened in porch is also a plus. By far the best thought out VRBO for a large group. Jake even offered to mail us the small tent that we accidentally left when packing to leave… Highly recommend.

Beautiful, quiet location directly on the beach to enjoy, relax, and not rush! Everything we needed to have an amazing week without needing to leave the home! We did go out for local foods, but otherwise enjoyed the pool, screened in porch area, and wide open beach!

This was a fantastic house for our large family group. The kitchen was beautifully furnished and we loved having a second refrigerator. There were tons of pool and beach toys and chairs. And for once there were more than enough towels. Jake responded promptly to an inquiry, which was much appreciated. It is a great property!!

Great house for a larger group

Loved staying on St George Island. The property listing was spot on. The pool and beach were awesome! The kitchen had everything you needed to cook in for dinner. The extra refrigerator downstairs was convenient. One small issue- could use some more wine glasses . Other than that the house had a lot of great touches that made our stay perfect!

Amazing Vacation

We loved this place so much. Three weeks before our vacation, we lost my husband's mother. We needed the perfect spot to heal, and this house and location were everything we needed. Jake is amazing. He answered any questions we had no matter what time it was. The house is well stocked with everything you would need. The beds are the best. The view is so amazing. The beaches are not crowded. We saw dolphins every day. You need to book this house today. Thank you, Jake, for a fantastic experience.

Big Winner in Every Category

This beach house has it all. The view! The space! The pool! The kitchen! The technology! The locale! The uncrowded beach! The amenities! The customer service! And the list goes on! We love St. George Island because it is less commercial and more private. Yet there is a well stocked Piggly Wiggly, specialty shops, and restaurants in nearby Apalachicola.

a great christmas week

My family and I stayed here for a great week. Everyone enjoyed the stay. A couple of us worked a few days remotely and the internet held up enough to get through some zooms here and there. The espresso, coffee pot, and keurig all came in handy for us, as well as the big living room next to the kitchen. The ample dishware and silverware got compliments -- something that seems overlooked much of the time and this place was well-equipped. None of the pictures showed the enormous living room TV and we'd usually end the night by making a family member pick a movie. We did the week of new years so we didn't use the beach furniture to the fullest, but I could see the fold-out chair selection and beach toy bin being awesome for the hotter months. The host did a great job with check-in instructions and we had no problems getting through the security gate that you hit 5-10min before getting to the rental. It was overall really great!

The location is perfect. The host is incredible! I can’t say enough good things about him. He responded almost immediately to our inquiries and was patient and kind and professional. The house could be amazing. It has a great layout, location and pool. However lots of things need maintenance and/or updating but I still loved, loved it. We had a wonderful, peaceful time. The top floor gets really hot during the heat of the day but rest of house stayed cool. The sleep number beds were the selling point for me. The yard and driveway were overgrown and unkept but again we still loved it. The shower heads are horrible and made it hard to rinse soap off and the lighting is very poor in several bathrooms. The Plantation was beautiful and offered great amenities and walking trails. Overall it was as close to perfect as we could ask for.

Family Beach Trip

We had a great week at Beachfront Oasis! We had a full family gathering with all ages and the property was wonderful. Right on the beach with beautiful views out the living room window. Lots of stairs, but that was not a problem for our group. Jake was amazing and was very thorough and a great communicator with any questions we had before and during our trip. We would def return!

Fantastic beach vacation

We loved the home and pool. It was so wonderful for our three generation family vacation. And what a great location right on the beach! The home was stocked with beach chairs, toys, sun shade and everything you could need. The owners were super responsive to questions and easy to contact. Highly recommend!

Amazing Vacation

My family of 8 had an amazing stay here at this house! We would definitely stay here again. We loved the island as well! It was our first time there. They had tons of beach chairs. There was so many extras there like laundry detergent, dryer sheets, dish washer pods, the kitchen stuff, sheets and linens were soft and amazing. Jake was amazing to work with. He was very accessible. My only complaint would be no beach towels thank goodness I threw a few in my bag just in case. The 2 sleep number beds were awesome! The 2 smaller rooms off the 2 masters were awesome as my daughter has a 9 month old baby so he could be close but be in his own room to sleep at night. The pool is bigger than most and we really enjoyed it with a baby. Y’all give this house a try it won’t disappoint.

Great location and layout

The house is right on the beach in a nice, quiet nook on the island. The internet connection is fast and the house layout is perfect for large groups. Also, the double family suites are SO perfect for parents with small kids. Highly recommend!

Beautiful home

We had a great stay at this property. Do not have anything bad to say. The owner was easy to communicate with and took care of any needs that we had along the way. Beds slept great.
