Rental was very dirty from hair in the bed to moldy spatchula and unwashed pot holder. Grill wouldn’t light. Clothing left under bed from previous guests. Mgt was quick to respond and offered to having cleaning crew come. Was there for 1 night and didn’t want to leave to have it cleaned as it would have taken hours to get it in good shape. Didn’t ask but wasn’t offered to refund cleaning fee which obviously wasn’t cleaned between guests

The property fit our family. It was too cold to enjoy the pool however it was nice to sit beside it. I would suggest bringing your own favorite pan as theirs did stick. It was a bit musty smelling as well. My only real complaint was the floors weren't that clean so shoes were a must unless you like dirty feet. The beds were comfortable and the downstairs playspace allows for lots of fun! We will definitely return.

The location was great with easy access to downtown and the bay. The open kitchen to living area was perfect for family dinners. There is plenty of outside space for the dog.The house needs some updates.

Overall the house was good. We did have an issue when we first got there. There was an issue with the front door not locking and there was some trash left around the pool. We reached out to the property manager and rusty had someone over there quickly to take care of the problems.

I can not confirm that it had been cleaned before we arrived. The linens were on inside out in one of the bedrooms. The grass was not cut and very high, but the property company graciously helped get that corrected. One of the blinds broke in us, which we reported. We also went to grill and there wa a large rat and droppings in the grill. Other than, th rest of the week went fine. Location is great!

Amazing family trip!

The Salty Snapper was perfect for our family to celebrate our daughter's graduation. The downstairs area was perfect for the kids to have their own space, and we all loved the screened in pool area. Having access to the bathroom downstairs as well as the small refrigerator for drinks was a huge plus. The house was clean, well-stocked and well-organized for our group to be comfortable and it's close to everything on the island by golf cart but still in a quiet area. I loved being able to bring our dog to not have to worry about her at home. Everyone kept commenting on how much they loved the house, and our grad was happy!. We hope to stay again soon!

Much needed relaxation

I went for a few days prior to having to go to Mayo Clinic to an oncologist due to cancer diagnosis. I badly needed time to just relax and spend time with my sister and just enjoy the beach. I enjoyed everything about the house and relaxing in the covered pool.

Great porch Gulf View, Pool, Games, great location

We loved our stay at the Salty Snapper. It was perfectly located on a quiet street with gulf facing filtered view. Basement with ping pong, foosball. Beds are comfortable, smart TV, close to everything and our favorite Oyster Bar Paddy’s. Had a bit of trouble with the air conditioner but it is being tended to.

A nice stay

Our stay was wonderful overall. Unfortunately check in was at four but the cleaners weren’t completely done til 5:30. We were able to hang out in the under area. The view of the bay is amazing! The house was mostly all clean- I would suggest some updates I. The bathroom areas and maybe some more kitchen items.

Family Getaway

There needs to be some light maintenance on the deck with nailheads sticking up & loose boards. Also suggest a keypad on the bottom entrance door. Overall this was a great place to stay. We have no complaints and are a family of 11 which included 6 adults and 5 children ages, 5,3,3, 1 & 1. The children are why we’re concerned with the nailheads on the deck & loose boards. Again, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Salty Snapper & would love to go back & stay there again someday.

Beautiful home on St. George Island!

We had an absolute wonderful stay! The home is beautiful, clean, spacious and in a great location. Close to beach and downtown. We also enjoyed the screened in private pool. Thank you for a great stay, we will definitely be back!

Disappointed!!!!!

This property is way over priced!! St George Island is beautiful however, based on our experience with our rental, we won’t be returning. I feel like we were taken for sure! Dirty plates were in the cabinet, freezer drawer wouldn’t open, sheets had sand/sprinkles, ping pong net was broken (had to wait for them to bring new), internet was an on going issue, bunk bed room didn’t have working lights, main shower doesn’t drain well so you stand in water as you shower, shower liner sticks to body. I don’t feel like any of this is acceptable at price they are charging! Look to next rental!
