We had a wonderful stay in this property! Firstly, Marie is incredibly kind, gracious and always prompt in responding to any of my questions. Rena, who is the property manager is very sweet and easy to connect with when I had a quick question.Rawle, our airport pick up/drop off driver was very hospitable and courteous. Secondly, the house itself was very spacious. We rented the main floor and it accommodated our needs for a family of 6. It was well stocked with toilet papers, bath and beach towels, etc. There were shampoos, conditioners and body wash in both bathrooms. And although we did not need any, Marie has provided toothbrushes and other toiletries that one may have missed while packing. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had an amazing gas stove which I used everyday as I enjoy making home cooked meals. There was an air fryer which came in very handy! The kitchen was fully equipped. I may suggest perhaps adding some more kid friendly plates and cups :) Lastly, the view from this property is breathtaking as it overlooks the ocean, the mountains and of the island itself. We watched the beautiful sunset from the balcony a few times. I went for a run/walk every morning. The neighborhood is safe and neighbours generally greeted me with a hello and good morning. We enjoyed everything about this place. And having access to a vehicle is definitely a great plus and a must-have for being in this area. Thank you Marie and team for all the care and attention.We appreciate it!

Beautiful clean apartment. Spacious and the kitchen has everything you need. Wonderful host and very responsive! My family and I were secure and safe. The fact that the apartment comes with a car is a huge plus.

I'm unable to write a review for this particular property, as it is not the one we ended up staying at. We booked a year in advance for the villa in town, but were given a place farther away from the capital in Egmont. A beautiful space, and with similar amenities, but the initial confusion and lack of explanation regarding the change was disappointing. We were offered a refund of one night for our trouble. I was traveling with my parents, and we chose to stay and adapt our plans to the new location. The use of the car and trusty driver/liaison Kenrick were invaluable. Aside from the initial hiccup -- and a dishwasher issue that was repaired during our stay -- we had a great time in Grenada and would recommend the Egmont property.

The Hills HAVE Eyes

The apartment was nice beautiful and more importantly clean. This was my 2nd time booking with Marie.She's a great communicator.She was avaliable at all times when I needed help with bookings. Like I said, this was my second time and both times were great experiences.There are fruits in the yard that I always helped myself to. The wonderful driver Kendrick my family and I think you . We really appreciated the coconuts 🥥. As long Marie place is available i will always book with her.Ms Marie keep doing your thing AND DON'T CHANGE ANYTHING .

Excellent home & location

My husband and I stayed with our 3 teenage/young adult children. The home is clean and spacious. The host was responsive to our questions. Kendrick and his wife were fantastic. They picked us up and took Bryce to get his temporary driver's license. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this home.

PERFECT!!!!

Would 100% stay @ Marie’s in a heartbeat! We wanted for absolutely NOTHING!!! EVERYTHING worked beautifully!! The car was AMAZING!! Took us everywhere and back safely daily! And we gave that Subaru a run…..daily trips all over the island! Such phenomenal hospitality AND accommodations! From pick up by Kenrick to drop off by him it wall ALL wonderful!!! Soooo many extra courtesies and thoughtful additions…from fresh coconuts, to earrings!!! Theae hosts NAILED it!!!

Glad we ended up with this place. We had been looking around the island and this one stuck out at us. Top of the hill. Away from the main road. Driving on the left hand side is always an experience. Car worked great! around

We've stayed with Marie multiple times-she's the best host! The property is always clean and the kitchen has everything we need for meal preparation. Marie is prompt with communications and Kenrick is helpful when we need assistance on island. We are looking forward to staying again next year. We wouldn't think of staying anywhere other than with Marie.

Exactly as described

We weathered Hurricane Beryl here with zero problems. The owner of the facility checked on us frequently during all of that. The house is exactly as described. It is beautiful with a jaw-dropping view. The kitchen is far better stocked with pots/pans/utensils than most rentals as well. The rooms are big and airy, everything works, and the car is in good shape. This is an excellent vacation rental!

Grenada December vacation

My family stayed in the top floor unit for 2 weeks. Having the SUV to get around made things so easy and really got to enjoy all of Grenada. The outdoor patio was great for morning breakfast, afternoon relaxing and evening dinner/sunsets. I would highly recommend this to others. The only thing I would say is that when I first booked it I thought it was walking distance to the beach but it is not.

Perfect location!

This is our second time staying at the villa and both times it was the perfect place for us. The property is as advertised, is clean, in a quiet location, and Marie as a wonderful host. Kenrick is so helpful onsite with the car and any other small issues that might come up. We already have reservations for our trip in April!

Paradise away from home!

Great 7 days away from home. The house have everything you need to cook, I wanted to make roti and was pleasantly surprised there was a rollin pin. Kendrick was so sweet picking us up and dropping us off at the airport. We even made friends with the neighbors, a dentist, a lawyer and a pilot.

Perfect home away from home.

I am not a resort-stay kind of traveler. Resorts usually feel too disconnected from how beautiful a place really is. Marie was so good at responding to all my questions before and during our stay. This is a beautiful house overlooking the hills to the water. The home is perfect for a family to stay with all the items you need to cook and enjoy the morning and gorgeous sunsets. The ACs quickly cooled off the large bedrooms. We asked to check in early and were picked up by Kendrick seamlessly. The house cleaners let us unwind in the finished bedrooms. An AWD SUV with the house is so generous! It was definitely helpful to get to town and the beach. The home is a couple of miles away from the beach, and as a new driver to the island, I didn't consider the distance or driving on the left side of the road to be as much of a stressor as it was in my head. But overall, the house and our stay was wonderful. I hope to stay here again, and an overall great find!

Great property, great hosts, great stay!

Very accurate listing. Nicely sized space - perfect for a family or with kids. Well appointed kitchen and features all that you need for a nice comfy stay. Quiet neighborhood and responsive / pleasant hosts. I highly recommend. Kitchen nicely stocked with the essentials. Plenty of storage space for food or your things and a nice large balcony if we wanted to do that. The only thing that might be a thing to some (but wasn't really for us) is that it's not very close to the beach - though you can drive there within 15 mins. ("Close" on a small island is relative.) And the property is not within walking distance to anything really but they do provide an SUV so that cancels that - unless one is not comfortable driving - we were. Overall a great stay and I highly recommend. (The kitchen even had the same sink as we have in our own house :) so... yeah, homey.

Rooms with a view

The house was perfect for our needs. We stayed there while our boat was hauled out having work done on it. Beautiful views. Great kitchen. AC in the bedrooms!!! Use of the SUV was invaluable.

The Hills have character

Marie (host / owner) and Kendrick (house manager) made for a wonderful stay at this lovely Villa. Both had very helpful information in addition that made our stay even better. Look up Mark with Corsair Sailing and take the sunset cruise for a spectacular evening. We went on the Corsair snorkeling cruise as well since we had such a good time of the first one! Having a vehicle was a nice perk as it enabled us to get around and explore the island. And what a wonderful island it is..! Just remember that driving takes a moment to get used to. (Right side steering and left side of the road driving). And speaking of Hills, there and many steep ones indeed. Just take your time and you'll be fine and have a really nice time. Thanks again to Marie and Kendrick for being fantastic hosts. It was a special time that we'll never forget.

A dream of a house and wonderful hosts

We had a truly wonderful time in Grenada with warm people. We have experienced a lot, but also enjoyed the peace and quiet. The accommodation was furnished with love, is very cozy and really had everything to spend a good time, it has a great location overlooking the sea and the surrounding area. You are right in the middle of it, but also a bit out of the way. You can quickly get to St. George's and to the other destinations on the island. The apartment car was also in top condition and so it is easy to get up the hill. We were picked up from the airport by Kenrick and he really is the man for all occasions. He managed the house well. If we had a problem the owner Marie or Kenrick, who managed the house helped quickly. The owners are really good hosts, we have never experienced such professional care and communication. This was definitely not our last visit to the "Hills Have Eyes". We had a really great time.
