  • Seren House se encuentra en una excelente ubicación y ofrece un refugio calidad de la luz, cómoda y alta en cualquier época del año. Es sólo un corto paseo de 5-10 a todas las playas en St. Ives, con una ubicación ideal para practicar surf, paseos, restaurantes, pubs y tiendas, pero lo suficientemente lejos como para disfrutar de una escapada tranquila.

    Seren House está bien equipada y es espaciosa, por lo que es la base perfecta para familias extensas que viajan juntas, parejas y entusiastas del surf, con gran capacidad de almacenamiento para tablas y trajes de neopreno y un baño de ducha de fácil acceso en la planta baja.

    Ubicado en tres pisos, cuenta con cinco atractivas habitaciones, dos baños y un baño en suite para la habitación del ático, así como vistas al mar desde los pisos superiores.

    Contamos con estacionamiento para un vehículo mediano y uno grande. Hay aparcamientos públicos a poca distancia y el Rugby Club en la cima de la colina ofrece estacionamiento por £ 5 por día.

Great location. Make sure to be clear about the parking and the steep steps. Was a bit on the tight side for all of us but the weather was amazing so we were outside most of the day and regularly in the evenings.

Great Location close to the centre and all beaches. Host was very helpful and informative.

The property was exactly as described. We had a enjoyable week with our two children (18 and 16 years old) who enjoyed the freedom to be able to walk to the town. My mum and brother and his wife also stayed and again it was great to leave the cars (managed to get a 4x4 and an estate cat in the parking area) for most of the week parked up. We did visit Porthcuno Beach as well as Penzance and Falmouth to get the ferry to St Mawes as well which is definitely worth a trip. Overall a great week.

Host extremely helpful

Seran house is in a great location, well equipped beautifully decorated. Our only problem was that the verbo app did not work on app or web site to view instructions but Gavin our host was quick to ans our emails.

St. Ives gem

Spacious and comfortable - convenient to everywhere - host is very responsive and accommodating - parking is a pain, though, and needs a better description of how steep the streets are and the best approach to the parking space - need a clear statement of fireplaces being decorative and recycling not being an option - would stay here again. Many gratitudes!

Nice house, central st Ives location with parking

House is in a central location and feels like a family home - some really nice decorative touches. It is well equipped and was clean apart from the crockery snd pans… but I guess that’s down to previous guests. We weren’t expecting any but there isn’t really any usable outdoor space and the garden above that leads to the car cannot be crossed so you do have to walk round … most of what we did was in St Ives so not an issue for us. We did find it very noisy on the street side - we had enough room to move to the bedrooms at the back of the house but if you fill the house you need the ‘late to bed’ers and the sound sleepers at the front of the house!! We were there in a super busy week and I dare say there might be less motorbikes doing laps and late night shouting people at other times of the year!

A good week

We had a good week, great weather. Lovely large property. Very clean. Close to St Ives centre. Parking some distance away up hill. With Covid, meals for 10 in restaurants was difficult or impossible so needed to cook in the house. The kitchen equipment e.g. baking trays were perhaps insufficient for such a large group with differing needs (ages 9 months - 69 year old). We had two water problems a sewage blockage (previous tenant?) and a flexi pipe in the downstairs shower room. The sewage blockage was responded to by the owner very quickly

Very convenient and close to St.Ives centre.

The whole experience was very easy and convenient to book. Communication with the owners was prompt and friendly . The property is literally a 5 min walk from the harbour. The peace of mind of having two dedicated parking places is great. Although it is quiet a climb up the steps to it. Lol We dropped family and bags at the front before taking the cars up to the parking spaces. Unfortunately the BBQ listed is no longer there, so perhaps take one with you. Finding disposable ones proved near impossible. Overall we had a fantastic holiday and hope to return in the future. Seren House would definitely be a consideration. Thank you to Gavin for his help when having to rearrange, due to the COVID restrictions.

Great property

Really well equipped house. Rather late check in and early check out but other than that we couldn’t fault Seren house. Good communication with the owner who always answered my queries immediately. Also, location was great. Very near centre as described - up a steep hill but didn’t prevent my 85yr old mum walking to the beach every day. Would happily stay again.

Friends holiday

What a lovely house in a perfect location. This was just what we needed after lockdown restrictions. Shame the lively pubs couldn’t open and sometimes hard to get meals out due to places being closed. We all hope to stay in the house again & didn’t want to leave beautiful Cornwall.

Perfect location

A great house for easy living - we loved it. Less than a five minute walk from St Ives harbour where all the bars and restaurants are located as well as the fantastic sandy beaches at low tide.

Right in the centre of it all...

Two families (total 9) stayed a Sereen House for 7 days. The property was immaculately clean, had everything we needed (despite COVID 19 restrictions) and all information was provided to enable us to stay safely. We loved being in the centre of Saint Ives, a short stroll took us to the town, beaches and stunning views. This house is ideal if you want somewhere that feels like home and with two families having 3 bathrooms really helped! The only thing we missed was an accessible garden or outdoor space to sit and have a drink or let the dogs roam. However, being so close to town meant that we just had to go out and discover new places (and cafes) so it wasn't really a hardship! Gavin was very responsive to any questions we asked during our stay. A lovely home from home in a stunning part of the country.

Superb location

Great location being 5 min from town centre/harbour with a litter of great restaurants on your doorstep. Local co-op 2 min walk. Several beaches within easy walking distance and Carbis Bay 3 min on train. Property has good sized bedrooms and facilities. Booking and instructions for arrival great.

Glorious St Ives (in the rain)

Perfect long weekend in St Ives (despite the rain). Seren House is so close to all the town action; everything is literally at the end of the road, and all the beaches/pubs are walkable/staggerable. There was plenty of room for all (6 adults, 2 children/teens, 1 hound) - everyone had their own space, which always makes things go more smoothly, and three showers meant no queuing in the morning. The house is beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully kitted out (apple TV for kids /2am Trivial Pursuit match for the olds). We were all very comfortable, and quickly felt at home. Parking was a bonus (after quick drop off of bags at the front door). Really couldn't have asked for more for our family get together. Thanks Gavin!

Great location and comfortable for party of 8

Very near centre of town, plenty of room for 5 adults and 3 children, a couple of minor grumbles but overall very good experience.
