Nuestra ubicación en la cima de la colina y nuestro balcón privado al aire libre se prestan a las vistas tranquilas del océano y las increíbles puestas de sol. El interior está equipado con una cama queen con acolchado adicional, sala de estar con sofá cama Queen, cocina completa, comedor en la encimera, baño completo con ducha y una televisión inteligente de 42 pulgadas. También con aire acondicionado y ventiladores de techo, el espacio interior es el refugio perfecto después de un largo día en la playa.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Getting here is a bit challenging, but good and detailed directions were provided which helped us get to the right spot. The place was very clean, and many additional amenities were provided which was greatly appreciated. Could not recommend this more - and we'd certainly stay here again if we ever return.

Had a great stay. As others mentioned, it took me a phone call to the owner to find the housde on the night I arrigved; otherwise enjoyed my stay up on the hill!

Will start with the limited pluses: apartment has good bones and could be cute, air conditioner worked great, property manager tried but you can’t make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear. Now the negatives: we rented based on the ocean view shown in the picture that no longer exists - a partially constructed house blocks the view and has clearly done so for quite some time. The unit is wholly inadequate for guests. There was only sheets on the bed - no blanket or comforter. Furnished with 3 coffee cups, 2 wine glasses, and no drinking glasses (mgr provided when we asked). Came with 2 small sauce pans and 4 skillets - no baking dishes, no mixing bowls, 1 serving spoon. We stayed for 5 days and received 2 bath towels, 1 hand towel, 4 wash clothes, 2 stained and faded beach towels, 1 dish towel, no dish rag. Everything was filthy, including the cooler (mgr cleaned upon request). We had to wash each item that came out of the cupboard, the living room chairs shown in the photo are no longer cream colored - they look like tan chairs bc they are so dirty. Couch was stained, kitchen blind not functional, plus other windows had broken blinds. Bedroom door wouldn’t close and toilet seat was loose. Received zero responses to our inquiries through the VRBO app, as those are directed to the absent owner. Check in packet includes a phone number which apparently is the property manager’s number, but does not explain that. Literally the worst VRBO we have ever stayed in.

Spent two nights here. Hard to find on a map, but the driving instructions Shavon gave us made it easy for a taxi driver to find. The place was clean, the kitchen well-equipped, and the AC was performant even in eco-mode. Location was very walkable to downtown Cruz Bay (with one brutal hill leading up to the place) -- drivers on St John are very cognizant of pedestrians when there aren't sidewalks. My one complaint about the property is that the bed ought to be replaced; the mattress sagged in the middle and was stiff as a board everywhere else, and the bedframe didn't seem particularly sturdy. However, after a long day of hiking in the VI National Park, we didn't mind.

Pluses are that it is a cozy apartment perched on a steep hill in quiet residential area with a lovely outdoor dining patio. Drawbacks are that it is quite hard to find, too far to walk from the ferry terminal along narrow winding road with no sidewalks and not close to any restaurants. We did not have a car and had trouble with taxi drivers being able to find the place. A grocery store at the foot of a very steep hill was challenging to visit on foot. We felt mislead as to the location of this apartment relative to the Cruz Bay ferry terminal.

Stayed for a little over a week. Property manager was easy to get a hold of if needed. Road to the property and the parking area could feel treacherous at times but we got used to it (the whole island is a new type of driving for us). Would definitely recommend!

Walking to Cruz Bay landing is tough. The hills almost killed me🤣Chico our cab driver was a life saver. I do recommend packing a few towels. We had 2 beach towels and 2 bath towels. We did have an amazing time and the house was perfect in size.

The condo is clean and nice, with a big bedroom, good sized bathroom, kitchen, living room, and large balcony. There are a lot of stairs to get to the unit, which is not so fun with luggage to haul. The condo is close to Cruz Bay, however walking is not recommended. The island itself does not lend itself to walking - there are few sidewalks and cars make it dangerous to walk too far. There are also some very steep hills leading to and from the property, but it’s mostly the traffic that makes walking hard. The water turned off in the condo at one point, but luckily it was my last morning, and it came back on a little later. It’s too bad the view is now obstructed by a construction site, because otherwise the views would have been incredible. I didn’t stay in the condo long enough for this to bother me though.

Perfect place in STJ for one or two people. Nice and clean and comfortable inside. Close to everything in Cruz Bay. Unfortunately house being built right next to this one blocks view it once had. I would definitely stay there again.

We liked the location really close to Cruz Bay and it was a comfortable, clean space. Shavon was pleasant to communicate with. However, we were misled regarding the views from the property. The most recent reviews talked about the spectacular views from the balcony. And there was a photo in the listing from up the street/hill from the apartment that appeared to confirm that. Only to arrive and about 30 – 40 feet away from the balcony, an enormous house is under constructions, which almost completely blocks the view. If you sit in a very specific place on the balcony, there is a peek-a-boo view of the water and STT. Otherwise, you are looking at concrete and rebar. When making our plans, we decided to pay the extra $200 for this rental rather than another less expensive one with only garden views. We feel misled and a it ripped off. We could have used that extra $200, had we known.

This is a nice place in the hills near Cruz Bay. The place was clean and cool which was nice to arrive to. Air conditioning was wonderful and it was a quiet stay. We didn’t have a car but didn’t have too much issue describing to a taxi where to take us. There is a market down the way which was nice to have so close by. The kitchen was great to cook in. I wish they had bath towels that were big enough for an adult. There are no beach towels like the other two places we stayed in during our trip so definitely bring some if you stay here and intend to spend days at the beaches. It was a nice place to stay on our last few days on St John.

We had a great stay! Everything was perfect and the unit had everything we needed for our 5 night stay. We loved the openness and cleanliness of the apartment and also the location, it was a few minutes away by car from the main town square, but was still far enough to have peace and quite. The apartment came with beach chairs, coolers and umbrella which was also a plus.

The patio alone makes this the place to stay. I spent most of my time on it when we were not out. Only down is that huge hill but it was a good workout and taxi that property recommended was always available when needed.

We were very excited to stay here based on the description and “marked” location. The unit was updated and has a beautiful view. Shavon was easy to get in touch with Chico was a great Taxi driver. Our first issue was that there was no toilet paper or shampoo/conditioner/soap. We did not bring any of this because the listing said they had it. If we knew, we would have brought it. There is a convenience store eight down the hill though, so that was a plus. Our second issue was the lack of towels. We were supplied with 2 bath towels and 2 beach towels for a week. We did contact Shavon and we received 2 more bath towels 2 days later. The last issue was the leaking air conditioner. We had to put it on to sleep comfortably but it leaked the whole night. We had to use pots and towels to cover up the puddles on the floor. These issues ruined the nice experience we thought we were going to have when we first entered the unit. We would probably not stay here again due to the location.
