The remote didn’t work; the man working said he would get us another remote after 11 we said forget it; never heard from again. We had to go to TV to make changes. Breakfast from 6-9 but at 6:20 there is nothing out or available and couldn’t find anyone to ask. The room phones don’t work to call the front desk.

The sink in my room had a terrible leak and the carpet under it was soaked. I was not the first person to experience the sopping wet carpet. But while the front desk offered me a different room, I felt I was annoying them. In fact, every interaction with various staff made me feel I was inconveniencing them. The room was pretty rough looking. The blanket had bleach stains and what looked like baked in gum. Light fixtures were unplugged and I had to crawl under and around furniture to plug them in. Plus there was a wall switch that didn’t appear to have a purpose. The motel is in a decent area near many conveniences, so I’m very disappointed.

I'm not sure if I rented a Bed or a Canoe. Seriously, there was a huge pothole in my mattress. Dirty towels in my bathroom, and lots of chipped paint on the walls. The photos online are NOTHING are at least 20 years old, because that Hotel looks nothing like that today. The only saving grace is how nice the Staff were. They are very nice people, and I enjoyed talking to them.

I did not get the room I requested. They booked me for only one night instead of two. I did not get all of my towels, wash clothes and floor mat. The smoke detector was in a dresser drawer. Only two lights in the room worked, the sheets had peel on them and were sub standard, and the mattress was about 8 inches thick, was box spring and was the worse mattress I ever sleep on. The man at the counter was not friendly and looked at you with disdain every time you walked through the door. I do plan to leave a review on America's Best Inn's review page. Also I've been told by a few local people this hotel is known for not refunding peoples deposits. I took many photos of my room before I left just in case I have to fight them for my 50.00.

the hotel outside looks ok, but is in a not so good area of town, next door to it there is a car wash meeting place where young people meet with their cars to race each other and some of the area used is thryu the hotel parking area; the hotel has long term tenants that live there so the halls are full of different food smells which is not so bad because when we got to our room: 1- the entry light did not work; it lacked a bulb and electricity2- the tv didnt work 3- the window curtains were off the rod broken 4- the bed sheets were yelowish; I had to smell them to verify they had been washed; 5- one of the beds we could not use because the mattresss was so used that it had a dent in the center and it rolled you to it6- the same bed with the bad mattressw had a bad wood frame that croaked when you sat on it or moved 7- the towels were clan but had holes 8- the carpet was so stained that we didnt know if it was dirty or just stained so we didnt dare walk barefoot . Frankly I was dissappointed I had chosen it. We did not wait for the "hot breakfast"

We were 2 people. Room had only 1 pillow, 1 set of towels. Ice machine was turned off, found out 2nd night we could go to another floor and get ice. No clean towels or bed made. on the 2nd day. Directions to the room wee non existent. There was mold on the bathtub between the tub and the "wall". The bathroom had been painted by someone who didn't care as there was paint where it shouldn't have been and not cleanedu[.I know we paid $70/night plus $20/night for dog but it was worth maybe total $25/night. We are retired and judge the worth of our money equal to quality that was not there.

TRAVELER BEWARE!!
I consider myself to be easily pleased when it comes to traveling accommodations, but this was a whole different level. This hotel was so bad that I immediately scheduled another place to stay during our trip. The place was absolutely filthy—I’m talking brown-stained towels, yellow sheets, and condom wrappers on the floor. The walls, ceiling, floors, and furnishings were all damaged and in need of repairs. The stench of the place was horrible as well. It was a mix of cigarette smoke and a desperate attempt to conceal the smell with incense. The only reason we stayed even one night was because we got in so late, otherwise we would have checked out as soon as we checked in. Ultimately, it was NOT worth the extra bit of savings I thought we would have instead of staying some place nicer. Oh, and the customer service was very poor. The employees were rude on the phone and in person. Seriously, find some place else to stay.

First room i was in, floor was damp and the room smelled. Dog howling next door. I complained and got moved to another room. Second room, no shower curtain, no light bulbs in lamps, mounted lamp on wall in pieces, powdery residue on trim. I have "do not disturb" signnon door and house keeping knock on door and asked if need room cleaned orbif i was checking out. I had another night stay. Breakfast was cheap.

Check-in was not horrible but all down hill from there. Hallway was full of trash, room had a stale smokey smell, no smoke detector, refrigerator did not work, 1 of lights next to bed did not work, another light had shade just lying on the bulb, toilet had ring and dirty, one of the electrical wall switches was broken off, wall behind toilet missing base( hole in wall), tub had crud in a few spots, couch looked 50yrs old & dirty, under cushins was filthy(food, fingernail, etc), zero outlets within 5ft of night stands. Left & booked at another hotel!

Disappointed
I had stayed at this hotel before and was very disappointed with my stay this time around. The room smelled musty, the bed linens were discolored, no phone in the room and water drained slowly from the bathtub. A door in the middle of the hallway accidently got closed with no knob on my side making it impossible to open the door to get to the elevator. Had to go to the other end of the hallway, down the stairs to the next floor down to get to the lobby.
